Speedway location is permanently closed but website says open. Campbell Ave does not have patio or any of the decor or native costumed wait staff the menu describes. Weird salsa not as good as grocery store. Tiny tiny amount of refried beans for $3+. Ditto the rice. Crispy taco shells not homemade, look like they were bought from taco bell. Tasty chimichanga though.

Ordered a dozen green chili tamales for around $37.00. I cannot believe what they charged for nothing but lots of masa. One had a very tiny sliver of green chill, no cheese and solid masa. The second one I had was only masa. I can remember when Casa Molina used to be great food. Not any more!! Off my list of good Mexican restaurants.

This restaurant is a great place to have a Margherita and some great appetizers. Also chimi is outstanding

I began going to Casa Molina in the mid 70's while at UA. The food was, and I hear still is, outstanding and truly authentic. When I lived in Scottsdale we made the trip to Tucson so my kids could experience this over the top true Mexican cuisine in 1987. I'm in Prescott area now and I'm planning a trip back just for the eats. Seriously, the best there is.

Even though the first listing for Casa Molina on Speedway says it is open, it is not. It is still closed due to a kitchen fire there in late April or early May 2022. As of May 13, 2022, they are CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE per the signs posted on three doors. Missing them a lot!

Casa Molina is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson! I spent my birthday there with my friends! The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious! They make it a point to get to know you personally and the staff remembers you face, name, and even your favorite dishes. They even recognize my voice when I call in my order for pick up! It’s one of the reasons why I keep going back for so many years! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for great Mexican cuisine!

This was one of my favorite places. The portions were very large and the food was flavorful but they need more staff. I'm sure its difficult to staff a place this large but 1 person was running the outside alone. Drinks had to be ordered 3 times. Food was warm not hot when it arrived.

Service was terrific, food was good. The outdoor patio is really cute and decorated with lights. It's like dining at a garden party. There is an orange tree in the center with other plants. They also have those really cute Mexican oil tablecloths. The ambiance is a quaint garden delight.

My God this place is consistently amazing. Great service, speedy, and margaritas that would probably kill a human of smaller stature. I may be writing this review after a couple of those margaritas, but it does not change the fact that this is most likely the finest restaurant in all of North America. Well done everyone.

This is not a real Mexican restaurant.I'm from... Mexico. !!!This look like a calabazo it's ugly from the inside.I don't understand why gringos think that this is a good Mexican place to come and eat.Gringos don't know better.Believe me even the waitress from the restaurant told me that the restaurant it isn't but it's supposed to be as a Mexican taste.Oh and another thing kitchen is dirty and people cussing inside you can hear all Day speech all the way to the tables.

Just drove 4000 miles from Minnesota only stop we were making in Tucson on way to Phoenix was at Casa Molina to get green corn tamales, ended up arriving a couple minutes after they closed. Thank you to awesome wait staff & cook that still got us our tamales! They were absolutely amazing haven't had one since 2014 and Minnesota just doesn't cut it for authentic!!My mom was the first waitress at the N.Campbell location (previously they'd only had waiters) Summers of '72 and '73. Pretty awesome to get to go again!!

Our family has been coming here for years and everything is usually good. This time I got a chicken chimichanga enchilada style. The enchilada sauce was not very good, and the plate had obviously been sitting for quite some time because the chicken was dry and the tortilla had fused to the plate. The beans tasted rancid. Very disappointed.

It was the first two I was disappointed on the food. I had the lunch special taco plate, and the food tasty. It lacked seasoning and flavor. It was a pretty flat lunch. The service was excellent, though.

I was visiting Tucson for the first time in decades and had to come back here to see if it was as good as I had remembered as a kid back in the 70s - it was! We always start with the cheese crisp and finish with the sopapillas and honey. Everything in between is excellent especially the albondigas soup and topopo saled. Staff was friendly and efficient.
