Staying at Loews came for the views and room service. My burger is raging flaming spicy, gross and the fries are cold and hard. Not thrilled. $32 charcuterie very mediocre. View from room industrial. Never again.

I had read many great reviews so I was very excited for our stay! I was really impressed with overall ambience once you enter the resort lobby. The decor is beautiful. My discontent was with the room. Cleanliness was the problem- seemed was not vacuumed in quite some time, bathroom was not great either, door needs replacement as it gets stuck to open/close. Linens didn’t feel clean, the pillows had a stench in them. Had a horrible night in all honesty. Had it not been for the room, I would have loved this place and my rating would have been a 5. Also do not recommend the outdoor bar & grill - there wasn’t a lot of guests during our stay, you’d think service would be on top but wasn’t the case. The breakfast was really good and have no complaints there, and service was great there too. Giving it a 2 to give them credit for the outside amenities: pools, trails, the waterfall close by, koi pond, toss game. I wanted to like this enough to go back but sadly won’t be the case.
Awesome
Was nice hotel gorgeous views. Great staff very friendly. Room there are issues air circulation was not good we had suite and the bed room was hot no air circulation. Then leaving seen a mouse run across floor and go into wet bar.
My husband & I wanted to getaway for the night tho we're locals & this hotel was well worth the stay. Great customer service from check in, pool, restaurants to the door man. Very relaxing property, quiet rooms, surrounded by nature & close to city. We'll definitely be staying again.
Celebration getaway. Have visited Ventana for meals and other activities but have never slept here before. Room 3245.. big, beautiful, nice and cool with quiet A/C. Very clean all around, including the carpet. Bathroom has larger sized and better amenities. Nice towels and again, completely clean. Oversized and clean balcony with nice chairs and we had a pretty Mountain View. All the food we ate was spectacular, not even any near misses. From the salmon in the lobby lounge to a perfect steak at Flying V, to delicious and well prepared bfast at canyon cafe to my bagel and lox from the coffee shop- truly fabulous presentations which we didn’t mind paying for. Our day in the shade poolside was enjoyable- beautiful clear water and friendly prompt poolside food and drink service. Our only complaint would be the pillows, which no longer had any fluff to them. Could’ve used more than two a piece. Bed otherwise was extremely comfortable.
The hotel room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite. The service was excellent. The hotel had some great facilities for leisure activities including swimming pools, gym, and hiking trails.
Family was well taken care of. Staff were superb, food was tasty, and the grounds were stunning. Staff were especially attentive to our two year old and the pups we saw there looked very happy. Had a wonderful stay and will be back for sure! A must stay in Tucson.
We spent 4 days at Loews Ventana and one word can be used to describe it. Breathtaking. The Santa Catalina backdrop is everything but the service much like the backdrop is impeccable. We had a grand skyline mountain view room, which just made those sunsets more memorable. Breakfast everyday at Canyon Cafe was exceptional with lots of choice. Pool service was a highlight of our stay and kudos to Alex who knew our order before we made it.We also had the privilege of meeting some great people and Tucson left a great impression. So much to do, so little time. This has become our new favourite destination in Arizona.
We stayed for one night and will be back again soon. We did the room upgrade which i would suggest it's very well worth it. Our room was very clean with a great view of the mountains. There are three restaurants on the property. There is a trail that goes to a water falls we took and took plenty of pictures. They also have a large pool and a golf course.

Nice resort in a quiet and unique location against the desert mountains. The resort is tucked away from any busy area, but close enough to go off site if desired for shopping or eating. Room was quiet, clean, and upscale. bed and linens were well made. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and helpful to everyone that I could see. Pool area was well laid out and warm with plenty of places to sit and towels to use at the pool. Multiple eating options on site. Recommendations: make reservations for eating well ahead of time. try to get the sunday bbq brunch. upgrade to a room with a mountain view.
Best bartenders ever the servers do a good job too.
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort while in Tucson and we are very happy we did. Upon check-in, we were very pleasantly surprised to learn we were given a complementary upgrade, totally unexpected and not asked for. We had reserved a mountain room view room and instead received a Luxury King Suite. The suite was fantastic and the views were spectacular! Even without the surprise upgrade, we would still give the resort a solid 5 rating. The resort and its setting is beautiful. The bathrooms, even in the stardard rooms, are really nice with large showers and upscale ammenities. The pool, grounds, walking trails to a waterfall, and location are all wonderful. We highly recommend this resort and plan to return next year when we revisit Tucson.
First and foremost, the bites here are not impressive just expensive. Had aqua Chile & fish & chips. Aqua Chile was like a soupy ceviche served with a small round tortilla crisp. Was heavily limed. No way u can eat with just 1 tortilla so I footed for another. Fish & chips unimpressive. Was Long John Silver’s at $15/ filet meets Arby’s curly fries. Fortunately, that evening a trio band was playing. The female’s vocals were sweet singing jazzed up versions of r&b & pop tunes. This, the service, & the fireplace were the big pluses here. Lounge operated like a restaurant with no hostess so seat yourself.
Elegant place with a breath taking view of Tucson
