Was looking for someone to bake a very specific genre cake for a surprise BD party. Called the number I found on Safari. Even though Cathy was on vacation she returned my call. Only one other baker returned my call — very much later. I sent Cathy a few pictures to let her know (sort of) what I was looking for. She asked a few questions about favorite colors, favorite flavors, spelling of the name —- and she delivered on time, the most creative cake — within the budget we discussed at the time we agreed on, and the taste was fantastic. I probably won’t need another Dia de Los Muertos cake again; but no matter what special occasion we have in the future , we’ll call on Cathy’s.
