We love Pati in the bar. She is a great bartender, good drinks, excellent customer service and attentive to customers. The oysters at all the El Charro restaurants are fresh and served with the best horseradish. The burger is so juicy and the fries are cooked to perfection. We have had several meals here,. All the food is excellent, I loved the salmon. Not overcooked and great flavor. The seafood platter is next on our list to try. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came in tonight to celebrate our anniversary - our first night out without the kids in quite a while. We’ve been here several times before, but this was our first time sitting at the bar and it might be our new favorite way to dine here.
Tyler has been our waiter before and we were lucky enough to have him again tonight, along with Patty. They were both amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and they made great suggestions. They struck that perfect balance of being helpful without hovering and really helped make the night feel special.
The food was incredible as always, but the filet tonight was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life - perfectly cooked, ridiculously tender, and the kind of steak that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it.
And the flan… do not skip the flan. Even if you think you’re too full. Even if you say you’re “just going to take one bite.” You won’t. You’ll finish it.
Fantastic service, amazing food, and the perfect anniversary dinner. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully before our next kid-free anniversary. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Three of us for dinner, and we ordered one ribeye one fillet and one pork chop They were the best cuts of meat. Any of us can remember having had in a long time! Superb, tender, cooked perfectly, and kissed by the Mesquite flame A great brussels sprout, side dish, and beautiful flan for dessert. The only thing that I can’t give five stars was the old-fashioned just because it had a little too much going on with it. Believe us when we tell you, you’re not gonna find a better steak anywhere

Had the carne asada was cooked to perfection, tender but lacked flavor. Luckily salt and pepper were at the table and accompanied by a lime. Enchiladas were better than the asada. Overall was good and will be back.

I'm giving a 4 star as thought the atmosphere and service was very strong. Kudos to Tyler - our bartender/server - he was the highlight of the experience. Highly recommend the au gratin potato side and brussel sprouts - delicious. My wife's steak was perfect cooked medium. My halibut was okay - and quite expensive at $40 for a 7 ounce serving with no sides. A friend recommended the oysters - have to say they were disappointing for a cold water oyster New Englander. They are priced premium at $3 a piece - to get cheaper warm water frankly inferior Mexican oysters is over pricing. Will be back for sure - positive overall impression.

My husband and I came in last week for dinner and I can’t even tell you how unbelievable this experience was!!! From the hostess, to the server and to the management team. We arrived with no reservation and were seated right away with no problem. I don’t recall our servers name but she was absolutely amazing! She took her time with us and really explained the menu. What really blew my husband and I away was the manager Nick. The hospitality he provided was out of this world. He came up and checked on us while we were eating to make sure everything was okay and we ended up having a conversation with him for a couple of minutes. He was so easy to talk to and so friendly. You can tell that he loves what he does and truly enjoys speaking with guests and making sure everything is 100%. I’ve never seen a manager move the way he was. He was on top of everything and was helping out all his support staff. Every restaurant manager needs to come here and take lessons from Nick. I can’t thank you enough Nick for all the help!!! We will be back because of him. Thank you Charro Steak for having a manager that does his job the right way!!!!

Had an amazing outdoor lunch at Charro Steak! We stumbled upon this restaurant while actually waiting for a reservation at another local spot. It’s safe to say we found our new favorite spot! The oysters are the freshest I’ve had in Arizona, the Ahi Tuna was cooked to perfection, and fresh (you can tell it’s never frozen). Our Server Chloe was the highlight of our afternoon. Taking us through the menu and helping us make impossible choices. I would definitely stop in to experience the dedication that Charro has toward great food and fabulous service! Thank you!

Excellent steaks and the Branzino was amazing!! Everything was delicious and the service here was fast and friendly. The burgers are huge! Prime Rib was excellent as well. Desserts were all perfect and a great way to end a fabulous meal.

We have now been to both locations and have only positive things to say. Starting with the drinks, the selection is wide and the quality is top notch. The food is incredible! My steak and lobster were always cooked perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a fantastic choice for a dinner out in Tucson.
