“Been traveling all week so I was looking for something fresh and this place did not disappoint! The server was super sweet, my cocktail (gulf water) was on point, and the food was superb. I had the chicken club salad with ranch - I'm a Midwestern girl and this ranch is legit - followed by a layered banana pudding that sent me straight to heaven. The Executive Chef, Gabriel, brought each dish out personally so we got to have some good conversation. His passion for creating each dish was so clear, I really had no choice but to enjoy every single bite. 12/10. Would recommend.“

“One of the best dives in town, come on in the waters fine! 🍻 great food trucks always outside. Gets busy on weekend with college kids, during the week alot of the service industry scoots on over for their own relief. Lots of friendly faces and a good pour if you're kind to the tender. They have pool, games and a reading nook. I may be biased tho its one of my favorites by far! Hope to see you there!!“

“This is a diamond in the rough in that the unpretentious facade on a main road hides this small windowless space that serves up some delicious food and great cocktails. The hanger streak was behind amazing. The fish and chips was very good but I do agree with other reviews that the green goddess cold slaw is “unique”, and they would be better off with a traditional version. Our bartender was great and made a mean Manhattan and our server, Erin, was great. The menu had some great stuff but it seemed lame to be on simple paper vs a nicer version. The food is so great, it’s hard to believe they have 3 TVs in such a small space that it’s almost sports bar on one side and nice restaurant on the other side. I did love the 80’s music that permeated the air.
So, it’s a bit odd on some ways, but I loved it. And, it’s locally owned!

“My husband and I had breakfast for the 1st time here. It was amazing. They pay close attention to every detail. From the fresh flower with my food, to the side car of popcorn with my drink, made with a syrup they make in house. My husband's bloody mary was perfect too. Even the heart on the toothpick. “Really like the new renovations! However was disappointed in the service. Usually El Sur has quick responsive service but this time not so. Ordered side of sour cream which was never received. Had to ask for more chips and salsa. Never even offered the peppers/onions like they used to. Felt like food has changed and lost some of its authentic flavors. Rice was more bland and Whole beans usually good but this time very bland and not cooked as much. We don’t eat lard or pork so whole beans are only option so it was disappointing that they weren’t as good as they used to be.“

He was awesome, the food was excellent as usual, and the staff while entering and exiting we're all very pleasant to us. Their draft root beer is something the kids always look forward too, as well. We have eaten in Little Italy. Your food is worthy of being served on Mulberry Street. Five Stars... PS After we finished my Birthday dinner, I played Billy Joel's song "Scene from an Italian Restaurant" while awaiting the Check. And the red and white checkered table cloths are a Great touch. “Service is always on point here. Amazing staff. We do lunch often and we did iur aniversary brunch and also have gone to late night. All shifts were the same grade A service! Side note, be careful when you order tequila, at lunch ordered margs,
like she should our waitress offered tequilla options other than house... we were in the vibe of the atmosphere and chose one of the nes she gave, and our four margaritas came out to $80. Not her fault, she was doing her job, and wont lie, the margaritas were so good. But even after getting that bill we were smiling and satisfied with yet another great time at Tabu.

Food is good. Spicy zmargarita the best and its just an atmosphere that isnt anywhere else in Tucson.“

“I've been to Tacos del Rancho 6 or 7 times with my teenage children, it is our favorite Mexican food in the Tucson area. Our food has been great every time, and I highly recommend the quesabirria, the shrimp tacos, and the side of refried beans.“
