Excellent meal. Reuben was tasty. With toasted bread and crispy fries. The cut of meat was high-quality. Atmosphere was an upbeat cafe with open indoor couch seating and outdoor seating options. Service was kind and professional. I would recommend trying this restaurant if you want a nice meal.

I was served raw salmon. This seems to be a repeated issue judging by other reviews. The flavor of the pasta sauce was also mediocre. Yet another dud in the student union.

You can get a great lunch and a beer right on the UofA campus right by the Student Union - who knew!? The ambiance is nice and my server Victoria was awesome. I enjoyed my grilled cheese and tomato soup. The beer looked great, but I did not imbibe since it was lunch time! I’ll be back as the menu looked good and the prices were great! VictorB

i ordered from them through grub hub. when i received my mini sliders the burgers were completely pink and raw in the inside. so much so that it was goey. i called the restaurant and all they said was to call grubhub and get a refund. bad service and i got served completely disgusting and unsafe food.

Our sorority held an event there on January 13,2025. All the food served was scrumptious! The salmon, potatoes & brussels sprouts that I ordered were so delicious. The servers were attentive & the atmosphere was enjoyable.

They were good when they first opened but now they’re just morbidly overpriced for extremely subpar food. Food portions have gone down considerably and prices have risen. $5 for a cheesecake that’s literally 3” in diameter. Honestly a burger from the Den tastes better and is more for less.
The staff is always fantastic though! Thanks for a good time while it lasted.

The food here is mid and kind of pricey for what it is. But I guess just typical college student fare(?) Basic stuff like hamburger and mac and cheese. Except I couldn’t even try their Mac and cheese because they were out of pasta.

Dip & chili were VERY good - nice flavors and quality. The Avacado Turkey Club was EXCELLENT. Toasted, large, great flavor, and more fresh fries than a football player could ever eat! Nice IPA!
Only complaint: they came out and put all the chairs up on the tables while my wife and I were still eating. Rude in my book! Just sayin’…
