Other Tucson bars can learn something from this place! It’s a friendly atmosphere hosted by their dialed-in bartender, Bailey. Karaoke was on point with great local talent and a mixed crowd. This is a place you could hang out with you buddies or bring your grandma for a fun time. Seriously, this place is where you want to go with good prices (that helped me feel great about tipping for the awesome service).

The layout of the bar seating doesn’t create a welcoming or social atmosphere. The seating at the bar makes it difficult for people to approach or strike up conversations. It’s not ideal for those looking to connect or meet new people, as the setup feels more isolating than inviting.

This is a honky tonk! ( Dive bar) we loved the loud and rowdy atmosphere and running into people just like us. The drinks are strong with this one!

No food option, but can bring your own which is also awesome. Onto the bar itself….. I was referred to this place by a great friend of mine, whom also shares a passion for dive bars and this exact kind of atmosphere. Well I have to say that she was spot on. I went solo and was greeted in the parking lot by two women and instantly made friends before even stepping a foot inside the building. Once inside I felt like I was immediately friends with everyone. We all laughed and shared drunken stories about God only knows what. By the end of the night I rolled myself into an Uber and headed back to my hotel. Cheap drinks and great folk! I will absolutely visit Cowpony many many more times. Cheers.
I'm here quite a lot, and it's always a good time, during the day it's usually fairly quiet, and the staff is always super polite and helpful, with great service. Karaoke nights are always fun also.
