We come here for the games and the happy hour snacks. The kids weren't super excited about the menu options, but the adults enjoyed it. Also, I'm so glad they have a few mocktail options.

The shaved prime Rib sandwich was excellant and best fresh fruit side i've had I n Tucson. Our server and the manager were gracious and on top of their game.

If you are looking for a “thumping” nightclub vibe with music so loud you can’t talk at your table yet screaming, unattended children running around, this is YOUR place! It took over an hour to get our food and we struggled to have conversation due to volume. Had a great experience at the Phoenix location. This experience was terrible! Food and drink not nearly as good as Phoenix location.

Great space. Good service. Incredible menu. Not like all the other chain restaurants. Yummo!

Live music on Friday night.

Got there early but would definitely want a reservation if I was going after 6pm.

Dietary restrictions: Mostly scratch kitchen so they can take dietary restrictions into account. They asked us.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Large doors and no stairs.

Do not order the meat & cheese tray for $29.00: 3 slices of salami, 2 TBSP shaved ham, 4 pieces (2 cut in half) of toast with 2 white cheese wedges, 4 olives with 1 hard boiled egg, and a thimble of pimento cheese. Our bill with 2 Cokes and pretzels with orange liquid cheese was $60.00 before tip. Not a good value!

Waited at door for few minutes. Didn't know if we were going be seated or not. We told girl behind counter we were party of three. So after few minutes we asked if we could be seated..so finally three girls showed up and asked them again they looked at each other and one asked if we wanted to be seated? It was very strange for first time. Didn't know what to expect. We got seated and very confused who was are server since five people asked if been helped. Food was good after I considered long wait. The three waitresses kept telling us food was coming. My sister asked for second drink after her meal and it took considered long time. Finally was asked we were done and ask for check. Felt very unorganized the whole time. Food good felt highly overpriced. Probably willn't go back.

Had lunch here today. The pub burger and fried shrimp appetizer.

The burger was dry as a bone. Literally zero flavor. It tasted like the frozen patties from Costco.

The shrimp was just OK. It also tasted like previously frozen food. Disgusting

Our server was very nice but extremely slow and the restaurant was not busy at all. After tasting the food I will not be surprised if this place is gone within the year. There's no saving it when it's this far down hill.

To top it off the prices are completely out of line.

Waste of my time and money

Avoid

Overall, a really great lively atmosphere with good food and attentive staff.

Story time: diverted from our original trip to the Grand Canyon due to unexpectedly severe snow storms causing road closures, we found ourselves in Phoenix, Arizona. With no solid plans, we made a quick stop to the Hole in the Wall before driving over to Tucson for a more affordable night stay. As we waited for the sunset, we happened to overhear a conversation between strangers. A recommendation to visit Culinary Dropout. A location in Tucson. So we went.

The location has plenty of parking which was quite full when we arrived. Through the open air windows, we could hear lively chatter and music.

The atmosphere is a college spot. All of the staff are trendy college students. A good portion of the patrons are college students. The University of Arizona is right next door.

When we walked in, they were playing the AU basketball game on the big projector. After the game, there was a live musician.

The menu isn’t too long and has some variety. The place has nice drinks. The food was great.

I found myself struggling to choose. I landed on the 36-hour Pork Ribs and it was a great choice. The BBQ was a bit sweet but the meat was fall off the bone tender. A perfect portion size of 9 ribs, fries, and a side of Cole slaw. The slaw could’ve been a bit creamier but that’s just personal taste.

The staff were attentive and service was quick. I know many reviews mention the slow service but we did not experience that at all. The restaurant had as many employees as a mandatory intro class at UA. At one point, a manager came over to introduce themselves and let us know we could share any feedback.

If you like a lively place with some good food, it’s worth checking out. Please open a location in Los Angeles, thanks.
