Stopped here for the fish sandwich meal on September 9. It came with one piece of fish in the sandwich, a very small serving of coleslaw and a medium diet root beer for a hefty $13. There was no tartar sauce in the sandwich so I asked for some and was told there was a charge for the tartar sauce!!! I've had this combo at other Culver's and NEVER was asked to pay for the tartar sauce. This was the final straw. Will not be eating at Culver's again!

I had the Mushroom Swiss burger. I truly believe it is one of, if not THE BEST burger in the Phoenix Meteo area. Moist, tender, and extremely flavorful. If you haven't tried it, you should make it your next burger choice. Their fish sandwiches are very go9d but theushroom burger is superlative.

It was a skimpy burger and I thought the sourdough bread was buttered as well as toasted so it was greasy. Lots of fries and friendly service though. But for the money, I’m unlikely to return

Wow! Epic fail. Ate here on Sunday last and this place is terrible.
First - order was wrong. I got a double cheeseburger when I only wanted a single. The double burger was tepid in temperature, the patties were mismashed together and falling off the bun, grease was everywhere.
Husband had the extremely small fish sandwich which was the fish (he said it was hot), lettuce, and tartar sauce. That's it for $12+
We order fries with our orders and we each ordered a milk shake. The total bill was over $31! That's quite a bit for subpar fast food.
The biggest complaint and disappointment were the shakes. Both shakes were basically colored milk - like someone forgot to put in the ice cream. The chocolate was not chocolate but you could drink it like chocolate milk. The strawberry shake I had was not strawberry in any way shape or form - or than the bits of strawberries at the bottom of the glass where someone had obviously forgot to put in the ice cream and blend the thing up. Horrible!
The other thing we noticed is that this place does a bang up drive through delivery/order service. Unfortunately, they have so many the workers cannot keep track of what car has what order. Saw that first hand.
I used to eat at Culver's at 2 of restaurants in Wisconsin. One place in Madison was my favorite breakfast spot.
This was many years ago and this was my very first visit since. I was really surprised because full table service is gone..Now it's a fast food outlet. Not much different from the many international chain alternatives that I make a point to avoid.
What a change. Culver's used to compete with Denny's. Now it competes with MacDonald's and Burger King. I had the classic burger and it was tasty. Lots of fresh lettuce and a thick, more favorable bun. However the meat patty was extremely thin. Less than a quarter inch thick. The price was well also over 7 bucks before tax.
A first take, I think I would prefer over the other burger fast food competition. But the difference isn't worth driving one block further.
