As usual, everything was wonderful. TUCSON evenings in mid October are perfect to sit outside. Thank you again

We had a wonderful birthday dinner for six, outside on the patio. The food was great and the service was outstanding. I would go back there anytime.

On my way out after breakfast, I caught three employees at the front and I told them “your food is disgustingly….delicious”. I witnessed a nanosecond group panic emerge followed by relieved laughter. I genuinely felt bad for the scare I really gave them. Good thing I don’t say the same thing twice.

For real, the care and craftsmanship that went into my Huevos Rancheros with poached egg covered in optional green chilies and jalapeños on top of homemade tortillas cuddled up with crispy papas could not have been improved if Jesus himself was in the kitchen. Maybe he was?

Of course, I always have to have dessert with my meal and the half order of orange French toast topped with optional chocolate chips and real maple syrup made my Tuesday morning feel like Friday at 5 PM.

Super cool historical location with shaded patio seating and amazing service made this a saved location for every future downtown Tucson visit.

As always the food was delicious. Service was great, our server was very helpful. The only issue was we didn't expect a band to be playing on a Sunday evening and the patio area was too loud for conversation. Our fault for not checking.

This was fantastic. The coffee is the Havana, also perfect. Wasn't too hot to sit outdoors. Great experience. I'd go back if I wasn't just here for work. And yes, I pretty much ate the whole thing...no way to save it, couldn't bear to waste it. 😋

During the week we had excellent breakfast, good food.
on the weekend. The same meal was terrible sausage was burnt. The eggs were overcooked, and the bread was burnt.

I had a terrible experience at Cup Coffee. Out of the four cups of water we were given, two had worms in them. We politely brought it to the manager’s attention, but instead of handling it professionally, he just removed the cups, claimed it was from the cups and not the water, and gave us a dirty look. When we decided to leave for obvious sanitary reasons, he told us our food was “about to be ready” and seemed annoyed that we didn’t want it anymore. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, saying “oh well” with a bad expression.

To make things worse, we still had to pay for the two coffees we had ordered, plus a “service” charge, and they even asked us for a tip. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and the manager’s attitude made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Old-world charm in the heart of Tucson. Good selection of brunch items (cast iron eggs are super yummy), drinks and desserts.

Great spot to grab a bite in a historic building downtown. Food was delicious, the drink menu was creative but not stuffy and service top notch. There's a parking garage one block NW with tons of spots.

Just so disappointed that the food at The Cup has gone so far downhill. I've been going here for over 40 years and the food is now rushed and no longer special like it used to be.. We had the cauliflower tacos that merely tasted like burnt cauliflower and coleslaw stuffed into an uncooked corn tortilla. Bland and burnt and ridiculously overpriced. Their vegetarian/vegan options are almost nonexistent now. We've had them all, and they are seriously nothing special. The dessert was fine: Mango tapioca. But the other baked goods are mediocre at best now. The cup Café used to have the best desserts in town. It is so very expensive to eat there now too. You would expect the food to be on point. We are always looking for somewhere else to eat now on Congress St before a show. The only reason we went there last night was because our favorite downtown restaurant is closed on Monday, and we were going to a show at the Rialto. Please do something to rescue this once wonderful restaurant. Of course the ambience is fantastic. I guess that's how they get away with it.
