I am always in a search of a good birria and I found one in Tucson that is called a quesabirria burger -it's queso(cheese),birria but as a burger and not the traditional taco. It even came with a consomme (birria broth)! They also have one of the best cornbreads I've ever had that I ordered another one to bring back to Seattle. Their jambalaya, bread pudding and *addicting* rosemary, bacon and caramel popcorn don't fail either. Their popcorn alone makes me wish I work here for a short bit just so I will learn their recipe.LOL! jk

Honestly..we ate here when they first opened and it was excellent! We took visitors last week and we were all disappointed! EVERYTHING was way too hot..as in spicy heat! Even the hush puppies were covered in hot tartar sauce instead of being served on the side as before, and it wasn't so spicy last time. Very disappointing this time. Our waitress, however, was really awesome! I've forgotten her name but she was the best part of our visit!

Pluses were that they did offer gluten free options. Minuses, they were of the more already expensive cuisines. I had the jambalaya, but it was not very flavorful. This was a surprise. Also, not very filling. The drink I had was wonderful though. Not too sweet, seemed just right! And it was pretty! I don't recall which one it was, but it had hibiscus in it, an orange ice and it was pinkish. It was non-alcoholic.

First time here, and it was great. Service was amazing. The atmosphere was chill and beautiful. Everyone is polite and helpful. The food was delicious, had the Drunken Angel pasta, delicious, I've never had anything like it. Also had the kool-aid pickles, also great. Overall amazing experience. Will return to try some stuff I didn't get to this time like drinks and dessert.

I go to New Orleans a few times per year to visit family and I always miss Central Market Muffulettas and a decent Sazarac when I leave. The Delta is a great way to fill my NOLA void in between visits. The bread was a little dry and fell apart this time, but not docking a star because it's usually fine and everything else was perfec

Beyond excellent service both times I’ve been to The Delta. I’ve had just about all their appetizers and they’re all so delicious. You can’t go wrong going here for happy hour. This is one of my favorite spots in town.

We went there Friday night for Sonoran Restaurant Week. Had a really good dinner. The elote hush puppies were a great starter. Moist and flavorful. The gumbo was really good. Rich and thick sauce with smoked lamb, where I could taste the smoke, and good spicy sausage. Well spiced with a bit of heat. The lime rice in it was a great contrast. The dessert was big, tasty, but not overly sweet. Looking at some of the other food going out. It will be worth going again. It is a bit noisy inside, but so many of our good restaurants in Tucson are like that. The only small negative was that our table wasn't ready at our reservation time. I only bring that up because of the restaurant's reservation policy. Make sure you understand the possible penalties if you're late or cancel last minute.

Food was extremely orignal and taste (kool aid pickles), waitress was super friendly and with goods advise. I also loved the fact that they serve La Fée Absinthe from France or la Clandestine from Switzerland, with the nice water

Absolutely incredible! Some of the best southern food I’ve had since moving out of the south. It brought me back to my childhood. Pickled okra, hush puppies, gumbo…my lawd!!I also highly recommend the pickled berry pie. It is so interesting and unique and surprisingly works so well. The staff was so friendly and quick. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

Been wanting to visit for some time and we finally made it last night. Arrived around 7:15 on a Saturday evening and were seated with no wait.I had one of their signature cocktails, the Delta Sweet Tea (or something similar) and it was good but I saw a bottle of Van Winkle 10yr behind the bar on the way out and wish I’d ordered that instead.Hush puppies were on point. Nice and crispy, a tiny bit of heat at the end.Oddly enough I came here for Cajun food and ended up getting their “Krewe” burger (weekly special). It was well worth the deviation from the plan. The tots were also good, right out of the frier and delivered a few moments after the burger.Wife had the gumbo, which is what I was planning on trying so I’m glad I got to try it. Excellent gumbo as expected and even through I’m not a seafood fan I really enjoyed a taste.Servers were all very friendly an patient as we took way to long to decide on what we wanted. Atmosphere is fun and music was an excellent 80s station. Live music (DJ) was setting up to go on at 9, we left shortly before that.We skipped desert this time but will try next time. All in all, a pleasant visit. We are big fans of the Parish and this is a nice alternative without having to drive all the way up north.

Ambience 5 starsService 5 starsUnique drink options 5 starsThe food just want for me. I'm not a huge creative fan, so I knew that going in. The Dta has their own spin on southern creative which I absolutely appreciate. It's creative and explorative. The hush puppies were ok. The pimento cheese drip and special saltines were amazing, however you didn't get enough saltines to accompany the dip and if you asked for more, they charged $.50. A bit odd for this type of restaurant.I ordered the grits. They were delicious, but so over the too greasy I could only take a few bites. It took 4 of us to finish the leftovers over the next day or so, they were that rich.I dined with my family and no one was big fan of the flavors. My daughter had a steak dish that used chimichuri and Dr. Pepper. The flavor combo wasn't a hit. My mom ordered the drunken pasta which sadly was inedible to us. Many seem to love it, but no one in our family could stomach it.We were told the menu changes. I would definitely try it again, but would be more cautious about what I order. I do think it's a fun place and you really get the NOLA vibes. I just think you need to get a drink because they look amazing and love creole food, but not traditionally made creole.

The food here is great. I ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer, which had an amazing savory flavor with a nice tartar sauce on the side, and the shrimp and grits, which was a big portion and had a unique and very flavorful taste. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The waitress always came to refill my water and gave great recommendations for food and drinks that did not disappoint.Overall, I had a really good experience here and would definitely return!
