Cool old tavern with a huge, wrap-around bar. Lot of interesting memorabilia on the walls and hanging from the ceiling.

This place truly ticks all the boxes when it comes to giving abysmal service. The manager at this establishment looks like he's aged seventy and behaves like he's seven, speaking to us with an attitude that can only be described as entitled and arrogant. His attitude of making customers feel mistreated and unwelcomed is largely consistent and it was not uncommon to witness him raised his voice at customers. The only reason this establishment is receiving 1/5 is because Google does not enable a 0 star rating. The name is truly reflective of our experience at this place.

Dirtbags workers are disrespectful and disregard every person that comes into their restaurant. I went there for lunch/dinner and food was fine service was TERRIBLE. For a restaurant that has been around for since 1980s, have a better respect for customer service. Do better.

Visited this bar and was served by an older bartender named Mark. I chose not to order alcoholic beverages due to my personal decision to stay sober for the past 3 months. Instead of being understanding, I was met with remarks saying I was "a waste of space" for ordering soft drinks. To further compound my disappointment, I noticed an unauthorized $10 charge added to my bill, presumably as a tip I didn't consent to. Customers should be treated with respect regardless of their drink choices, and unauthorized charges are unacceptable.

I had the most pessimistic bartender I have ever experienced. He spoke of his sad somewhat relationship and how his lady makes more money than him and likes to go out to eat too much. He told me how the best thing he has ever done was not have kids. (One thing we agreed on) He expressed his political views in depth not even aware that I would have very different than him. Being as gay and punk as I look and stating I am from Portland Oregon did not deter him. He continued his bashing of immigrants and those of lower income. I was the only one there on a Thursday night mind you. He said he has no regulars. (Wonder why?) I thought bartender listen to your problems not the other way around. Then when my friend showed up after a very difficult day at the hospital he was refused a drink because my buddy had a hospital wrist band on. Dude said he came up with this policy. That was the whole reason we met up there was because it was across the street from the hospital. One trip to this place and I conclude he is the reason this place is dead. Never going back. Sucks too because that Ruben sandwich looked dank AF.

These people don’t give too cents about rights, and they’re all insecure. I just turned 21 and had a few margs at another bar all day, and me and my friends decided to go here for the first time. My bf met us there, because he had just gotten done with work. He got there right at the same time me and my friends did, and he was holding the door for us after getting his ID checked. I said to my friends “that’s a sexy man holding the door”, and the bouncer told me to “shut my mouth”. Confused, I said “what?” And he told me that I need to drink water when I get inside. I don’t think he know the guy holding the door was my boyfriend, but my bf went up to him and said “it’s all good that’s my girl” and the bouncer proceeded to tell my bf that I need to get water when I get inside. (He let me in upfront) Me, my boyfriend, and friends walk in and sit down. I did not ask for a drink, I barely got my right cheek on the seat before he came over to us and said we needed to leave (mind you he was supposed to be bouncing outside, he let us in, did not see him after that till I got to my seat. We didn’t fight him on the issue, and left. We went back to the car, and started reflecting wondering why he kicked us out. I wanted to go ask for myself, but my boyfriend thought it was better if he did. He then went up and I shortly followed, and he said that I was stumbling when I walked in. I was not stumbling, the last drink I had was over an hour prior. I asked for camera footage from the manager, because I wanted to see me “stumbling” like he said, and the manager said “we don’t really have working cameras”. I asked him to explain why I was kicked out, because I have never been there and just turned 21, and I should be able to learn if I did something wrong, right? He said that he isn’t sure and can’t tell me what I did wrong, he said the bouncer got “upset”, which all I can attribute to is that I called my boyfriend sexy, and he got insecure about it maybe? Idk what it was till now, but I just want y’all to understand that I wasn’t too drunk, I wasn’t stumbling, and I have people that understood that was how it is. I’m still unsure what I did, and they weren’t helpful at educating me. Don’t support this place and I’ve never even been there

The bartender spent so much time telling us about how great the place was it was more than annoying. The derogatory comments towards women in general was appalling. The leering at women entering the bar was disgusting. The food was at best ok. Burgers had no condiments and none were offered. Fry seasoning was overwhelming and spilled over into plates that didn't order it. Our drinks were refilled without asking. It's a college bar, I get it, but that doesn't excuse the behavior, it makes it worse.
