Dominick's Real Italian

Waited 45 minutes for a pizza with no communication except for taking my credit card. Pizza supposed to be done in 25. This is the second Sunday afternoon in a row with this same experience. My wife told the manager who could care less. Sadly this was the last time we will be ordering from here.

I want to update my previous post about this restaurant and sad to say we were very disappointed in this establishment. The bolognese fettuccine tasted like cleaning products was used as a base for the sauce, the chicken Alfredo was raw my wife order the pasta penne and sauce and that too tasted funny, we were in disbelief. I would not recommend at all but the atmosphere was great with live music. I would recommend any other place but this. The overall place at 6pm was backed with not a place to sit, but by 9pm we finally were done with this place. And for some strange reason the both was vibrating the whole table and floor… very uncomfortable. Maybe an off night or maybe they didn’t want us here. But won’t be returning. Best of luck!!

I'm appalled at our most recent experience here. My family and I have been frequenting Dominick's almost every weekend for the past few months. They have always been wonderfully accommodating and the food was awesome, so I expected no less when my husband and I came in for date night. I worked extra hours this week so I decided I'd treat myself to the $40 halibut special.

I asked the server if I could sub zucchini for the carrots - Carrots alone make me nauseous and i wouldn't be able to eat them. She said they dont do substitutions. I regularly order the chicken parm and they ALWAYS sub veggies instead of pasta, so i asked that instead of carrots can they just do more broccolini instead? She said no they cant do any substitutions on the special menu but she could charge more for vegetables (on an already $38 plate - no thanks) whatever, I really wanted to try this halibut, so i just agreed to omit the carrots. I already had a bad taste in my mouth because the waitress was so unaccommodating. I reviewed the menu and nowhere does it say substitutions can't be made.

So the halibut comes out with - literally THREE - burnt yet somehow cold broccolini. The halibut was bland and overcooked, so I didn't eat more than two bites and I was extremely disappointed. I waited for the waitress to come check in so i could ask for something else because it was NOT worth $40 - but she stayed gone for over 15 minutes. When she finally came back she asked if i wanted a box, to which i responded "no, it's honestly not good at all", but my husband did want a box, so she said she would come back with one for him. She didnt ask how she could make things right, get me a different entree or take the halibut off our ticket. So not only was this a terrible customer service experience, but also a terrible dinner and really completely ruined the night. We spent $90 and I left hungry.

Food is great. Bread nuts are very small. We ordered a dozen we got 8 we ordered another dozen they came at the end of our meal.

Had a reservation for 2 at 5:30. Seated promptly.
Nice waitress. Wine & salad delivered. All good. Then our entrees were brought. I had ordered the ravioli with a bolognese sauce. The ravioli was under cooked & the bolognese sauce was nothing but a tomato sauce. I waited for the waitress to come back but never did. I saw the owner Ted, who we knew from over the years, at the bar talking with a couple. I politely went up & asked to have a word with him. I tried to give him my feedback, but he seemed totally not interested & assured me that their bolognese sauce had meat in it, which it did not! I asked him to come to my table & see for himself. He turned his back on me said it’ll be taken care of. He never came to our the table!!. Walked back to the kitchen never to be seen again! I will never go back to Dominick’s again!! So sad that he wasn’t willing to solve an issue like this!! Disappointed customer!!!

Love this place! Unfortunately Brody our server was too busy to take care of us. Didn’t have time to box our pizza…. 20 servers there and 8 clients at end of evening. Food is incredible!

I've been wanting to get here for quite some time and finally had the chance to have lunch. Today. I ordered the lunch size chicken, parmesan and some minestrone soup. To my surprise it also came with some garlic knots. The service was awesome, the Chianti wine was great and I enjoyed a nice late lunch. I'll go back
