Food is good. Can't speak to the service or atmosphere in the restaurant. We used get take out or delivery but will not be doing that anymore. By the time you include taxes, the delivery fee, the extra service fee for ordering online and a fifteen percent tip it's just no longer worth it.

After a morning hike, I was in the mood for a Chinese buffet but wanted to try a place where I had never dined. Searching ‘Chinese Buffet’ on Google Maps, this was one of the top places to pop up. The Google description mentions “…plus a lunch buffet…”, so I visited their website. Scroll down the home page to the title “Welcome to Dragon’s Place” (sic Place, not Palace). Third sentence, “With an extensive lunch buffet…” Just what I’m looking for, so off to Broadway/Camino Seco.Upon arriving, there is one customer seated, minding his own business. I hear two or three voices in the back. The main dining area to the right appears closed. No buffet in evidence. No one from the restaurant visible. No one comes out to greet me. Two signs posted describe how the cashier is apparently never around. Some homeless guy could easily walk away with that “Tip Jar” you see in the photo, but given the attentive service, he’d probably find the jar empty. I waited maybe 3 or 4 minutes, took the two photos, took my leave. Can’t rate the food, as I didn’t eat here, but the excellent service and warm inviting atmosphere were non-existent. As busy as the restaurant was, I can’t imagine their food inventory is turning frequently… but the food probably is! ?And so in my quest for a different Chinese buffet I drove all the way across town to Park & I-10 to try Lin’s Grand Buffet, but that’s a different review…

I really don't know how places like this get away with the "food" they make. There was barely any meat in the orange chicken. Some pieces had no meat at all and was just fried mystery batter. The sauce was even worse. I can't even understand how they made their sauce. I made a delicious cranberry sauce in like 25 minutes yesterday simply looking up a recipe online. None of the food we got was even seasoned! The noodles tasted like soggy water. I don't even know how that's possible? The cheese puffs were chewy and almost tasteless. Places like this is why I started cooking at home. It's not even cheap at this restaurant. It's like they ride the covid wave of raising costs and making garbage food? Even the rice was bad. Like how?! Rice??

Pleasant experience.Immediately greeted upon entry. The establishment appeared to be clean, will maintained and devoid of any noticable deferred issues. We didn't find the food to be remotely exceptional, instead we found it noticably lacking in the flavor dept. It wasn't bad food, but instead it was sadly rather disappointingly, it just wasn't very good food, certainly not consistent with anything remotely close to the previous glowing 5star reviews found here. Our server wasn't overly enthusiastic. I kept moving my empty water glass to the edge of the table to get her attention to refill it, but each and every time, l still had to ask her for a water refill as she seemingly failed to notice it.We started out with egg rolls. Sadly they had a weak diminished flavor and just missed the mark. Additionally I thought that they were excessively oily or greasy.I ordered the beef and snow peas, and while it appeared visually stunning upon presentation, it was equally deminished of any substantial flavor depth. Again just missing the mark.My dinner companion ordered the beef lo mein, she was less then impressed with it as well advising it lacked any substantial flavor profile. Additionally she found it excessively oily. From the cook to them server, I certainly don't believe that we were shown their best effort. My dinner companion used the ladies room and advised that there was no toilet paper present. I really felt that the attention to detail was definitely deficient and lacking here by the entire staff. Oddly indifference seems to be the norm here.I found our visit simply disappointing. While not bad, this is not an establishment that I would highly recommend patronizing.Parking: Ample.

All the food was delicious. Large combination platter(sampler platter with a variety differently cooked meat), fried rice(flavor reminds me of how they made it in orange county CA), egg rolls(highly recommend), and hundred hummingbird(a multi meat dish).Side note: each plate is made to feed two people. If you want something for one person, order off the kids menu.

I used to go here a lot and usually got the buffet. Since Covid pretty much decimated the Chinese Restaurant scene, this has been my go-to place for pickup. Their pickup service is fast, complete, well packed and does not have additional charges. My two favorite things are the Warr Wonton Soup (AKA Wor Wonton or even Subgum Wonton), a soup with "everything". Their version is pretty good, and nicely priced. And BBQ Pork Fried Rice. I don't know what they do differently, but it's the best I've ever had and my favorite fried rice overall. I'm a big egg roll fan, but sadly, theirs are soggy and mushy and not even particularly tasty. I've tried many of their dishes, and most have been entirely satisfactory. The House Chow Mein is a favorite, as is the Mu Shu Vegetables. I get extra wrappers with that because the 4 it comes with don't stand up to 1/4 of the order. Four extra works out perfectly. I usually get Beef and Broccoli because my significant other likes it, and I like it too. I really like the Mongolian Beef flavor, but it seems 1/3 of the box was filled with white crispy noodles which did not add to the flavor or texture. I tried ordering without the noodles and got 2/3 of an order. Sorry, no. The Egg Fu Yung is decent, particularly the House version, but if you get it, eat it all. You put the sauce in the fridge and it turns to jelly. the microwave seems unable to reliquify it; possibly putting it in a pot on the stove would work, but the amount left to work with really is not worth the effort to do that. Most of the dishes come with white rice, which you can upgrade to plain fried rice, which I generally do. White rice just does not do it for me, but the fried rice is entirely satisfactory. They have lunch specials which include a smaller portion, along with choice of rice, choice of soup and an egg roll at a good price. These are a good way to try out many of their dishes. I usually get three dishes, which then qualifies me for a free order of Chicken Lo Mein which is quite tasty and gives me two days worth of food). Lesser orders may qualify for egg rolls (no thanks), crab puffs (a good choice if you like them) or pot stickers (very good but gone in about 17 seconds). In short, convenient, very efficient, reasonably good food and nicely priced.
