I am new here in town I have been looking at this restaurant since I moved out here. Today I couldn’t decide what to eat so this was the perfect time to try it. Walked in love the vibe. Gives you family oriented and I love that. We took a min to order because we didn’t know what we wanted. They were patient which we loved. We finally order to go. Jerk chick and oxtail fries was our choice. So we waiting for quite some time which was to expect because, the food was made to order. We finally got our food and went home. We were excited couldn’t wait. I open my fries 1st I see gravy no oxtails but gravy and fries. I was disappointed the gravy was good but where were the oxtails I order. So we tried the wings and it tasted like BBQ. We received food that we didn’t or incomplete. I was really enjoy the vibes until we received our food that was disappointing.

So excited to find a good Jamaican restaurant in Tucson. Ordered grub hub delivery I got jerk chicken with rice and beans, cabbage slaw , fry bread and a side of plantain and let me just say! It did not disappoint! Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor! I can't wait to try the other dishes and update you guys but I know it will be amazing! This is dangerous i will have to resist ordering from here every day

Absolutely delicious!!! We've been driving by their restaurant for years and for some reason we haven't stopped in. But, now we will of course be heading into their brick and mortar! We were lucky to try multiple dishes during a festival from their food truck and everything was all so tasty, especially the tender meats, seasoned perfectly! The plantains were sweet, hot and hit the spot! Our group of friends shared the chicken jerk tacos and stew which was sensational! The service was also great considering they were very busy! While I was waiting in line I was able to watch the amazing process of putting everything together, rice, etc. This is a wonderful family owned business that creates the best Jamaican food around! I've spent time in the Caribbean and I really appreciate the fact we have a place for such delicious food in Tucson! lol

My wife and I had lunch at D's and had a great time. I've had the goat curry from their food truck at Tucson-Eat Yourself, but this was our first time at their brick and mortar location. There's a great coupon for 50% off an entree after you paying full price for one entree when you check in on the Yelp app. We got the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken lunch special. It came with rice with peas and steamed cabbage/ carrots. Both were delicious. The rice is a nice balance to the savory meat. The staff were super friendly and took time to explain the popular dishes and checked on us multiple times. I'm excited to come back and try the oxtail and red snapper.

First time eating here at D’sOrdered the oxtail which came with rice and beans and cabbage (other mixed veggies) The oxtail was beautifully cooked, falling off the bone. Everything was well seasoned. I’m a salt freak so definitely added more salt otherwise so good!

Disappointing…… I did not taste the curry in the curry chicken the beans and peas were burnt and two spicy the Irish mosh in the can taste like eggnog…. I don’t know if you know or you guys and your Establishment now That there is people in Tucson That have tasted authentic Jamaican food and I feel like you guys could’ve done better and I feel like you guys didn’t put your all into it because what Tucsonin don’t know about Jamaican food right …. well, that’s wrong $100 for two plates That’s why I’m disappointed because it wasn’t authentic and I felt cheated ?? people work hard for their money ?

Went to D’s Island Grill today for lunch. DISAPPOINTED is Too light of a Word. I order jerk chicken & was brought undercooked chicken with sauce poured over it like gravy! I brought it back to the counter at which time the owner was offended apparently saying he could NOT accept me saying the chicken was not cooked thoroughly. His tone was very elevated. I refused more chicken, asked for my money back & was refused. I left all the food on my plate there Y the counter & left. Never again will I patronize this place.
