I only took one star off because it was so busy the staff had a hard time keeping up. But the food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Please go, it did not disappoint.

Waited over an hour for our food when it wasn’t even busy. The waitress rarely came to check on us. Wouldn’t recommend. The food and service aren’t worth it.

Ordered the Valantines Special. Presentation was very poor. Tables were super small. Food to hot (spicy) to eat. Got one plate to share between us about the size of a regular combination serving but way too spicy to eat. Five chiles hot. Lived eight years in Mexico enjoying very authentic food but this was not even close. The waitress was nice and helpful. Their special was not special and was very high priced. Heard a lot of good things about their food which they did not live up to in this case. Feel embarrassed to have taken my wife out to valentines dinner and having such a bad experience.
Great staff, great food, even a mariachi band that night!

Well, this is by far the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m in my 50s. Being from Texas I know the best food is from “mom and pop” places and the worst is typically your “authentic” corporate and/or chain restaurant type places. Full disclosure: I’ve not eaten in the brick and mortar restaurant. We ordered from a company that specializes in shipping food from “great” local restaurants all over the country. As far as I can tell, this place falls under the umbrella of a company called Carlotta’s Kitchen which operates out of Tucson and includes this and several other restaurants as part of its portfolio. If you look it up online you’ll see it’s an industrial building in a block-wide cluster of other industrial type buildings.
Delivery consisted of chicken mini burritos, birria tacos, and pork tamales. All of it was horrible. The chicken mini burritos: about 8 small flour tortillas about the width of two fingers, and if you make the “O.K.” sign, about that thick around. Inside of which was wrapped very dry, very stringy chicken. That’s it. No sauce. No cheese. No rice. Just absolutely dry chicken which, upon taking a bite of one, pulled the entire clump of stringy chicken out of the burrito, leaving you with the bite of chicken now protruding from your mouth at which point you have to decide whether to pull it out of your mouth and place it back on the plate or re-insert it into the now empty flour tortilla. Think fast because it looks weird having chicken sticking out of your mouth. It’s no exaggeration to say that I could go to the frozen food section of my local grocery store, pick up a box of frozen burritos, nuke them in the microwave at home, and they would be 1000% better than this joke of a meal.
The tamales had the same issue, only not quite as dry, but still stringy and chewy, and again, pulls the entire contents of the tamale out with each bite leaving you will a corn husk full of corn meal. Mmm…appetizing, no?
The birria tacos were interesting. Not in the quirky and curious way but rather in the way where you’re walking along and suddenly a bug flies into your ear or eye, leaving you flaying about manically sputtering what the heck was that!!? The meat…was weird. It had a taste that I wouldn’t go as far as calling bad, but instead, aggressively, and powerfully mediocre—not immediately off-putting but something about it not being quite right. Kinda like a psychopath. If this was an MRE it would be on my avoid list. It made you question why you were eating it. If we had the technology to 3-D print birria tacos, this is how they would taste.
Then there was the stuff they called “red sauce.” A couple of the more negative reviews here called it pasta sauce and this was exactly my impression. It’s just red…pizza type sauce. Profoundly and bizarrely horrible. If I had to give this sauce a letter grade it would be a question mark.
As this food delivery was a Christmas gift, I had extra servings of everything with the intent being to share and or enjoy multiple leftovers, however, after trying the burritos, AND the birria, AND the tamales, I threw all the rest in the garbage. If you see a review here with more than 3 stars, take it with a football sized grain of salt. This is a rare instance of the 1 and 2 star reviewers nailed it. At the end of the day, well, at least it was expensive.

Fabulous food - especially the guacamole made at your table to your tastes! Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Being such a popular restaurant, a reservation is a MUST! We had a group of 5 and Omar was THE best server ever!! He thoroughly & patiently explained all the specialties & options with each order. He was very attentive despite being a busy time. His customer service was exceptional: he willingly brought samples of beer & their famous carne seca. His bright personality & smile made our dining experience very memorable! We'll be back - and request to be seated in Omar's service area.

This place lives up to the hype. Every single thing we ate was delicious. The salsa alone is worth a visit (we had to buy some to take home!). Can’t wait to come back!

We were so excited to go here and we waited about two hours for a table for three. We ordered their famous chimichunga and it wasn't that good. There was no flavor to it. We also had the table side gauc which had no seasoning, at all. Our server, Omar, was fantastic 😍, I give him 5 stars. Half way through our meal, the man who was seating people came in, stood by our table and started yelling at the staff which was inappropriate. We were very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this place.
