I love this place. My only complaint is yesterday, I came in to order a burrito, a big order or refried beans, two drinks, and a small bag of chips! My order came out to $31 dollars! I realize that inflation is hurting us all, but to price gouge $31 for Mexican food that I can get from a food truck; just as cheap is ridiculous! I tip’d the staff $10 just because they do their best.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ive only gone to guero canelo twice and both times have been horrible. After the first time, I waited about a year then went again to see if I only had a bad experience the first time, but no! I ordered sonoran hot dogs. The buns instead of being that golden yellow color, they were brown! Like they had them there for days! On top of that, hard as a rock! I took the ends off and tried to eat them, until I took a bite and the hotdog was burnt as hell! After this I' m avoiding guero canelo, my first bad experience was at the 12th location, now it happened at 22nd. I've read so many good reviews, and I'm glad it has worked out for other people, but unfortunately for me it hasnt.
