One of Tucson's old hidden gems. Best cheese crisps in town, Chile Rellenos to die for, and the tortilla soup is awesome.

Salsa is killer good! I could eat it with a spoon. Would go back just for the salsa. Nice and hot and flavorful. Chimi was crispy and good.

One of an increasingly rare OG family-owned Tucson restaurant that still brings it.

I had dinner with coworkers at El Minuto Cafe, and I was very impressed. Classic Sonoran meals and some American offerings. This was my first time there, and I ordered the shredded beef combo plate, which came with beans and rice, and I chose the flour tortilla; which was huge, over the corn. Everything was seasoned just right, and all of our food came within 15 minutes of us sitting down. Also, my beer came with a nice frosty glass. I can see why this restaurant is beloved in Tucson.
