I had dinner with coworkers at El Minuto Cafe, and I was very impressed. Classic Sonoran meals and some American offerings. This was my first time there, and I ordered the shredded beef combo plate, which came with beans and rice, and I chose the flour tortilla; which was huge, over the corn. Everything was seasoned just right, and all of our food came within 15 minutes of us sitting down. Also, my beer came with a nice frosty glass. I can see why this restaurant is beloved in...
This is difficult because I really like to leave positive reviews. However, not this time. As Mexican food goes in Tucson, here it is average at best. My wife concurs. The atmosphere is not great either unless you like dusty old houses. Service is good.
Can't say enough about this restaurant!! I remember eating there whn I was 14. I'm 38 now. Some of the staff still work from back then to this day!!!! Love the lunch special and shredded beef plate but u cant go back wit anything on the menu. Would RECOMMEND HIGHLY to anyone new to Tucson or from here tht never ate there.. best Mexican spot in town and not expensive good price.
