Overstuffed delicious Tacos and Hot Enchiladas with some of the best Refried Beans in town.
The Bean Tostada was a meal in itself and never ending chips as part of the meal that are gratis.

We order a lot of takeout, everything is always fresh and wonderful, never an issue with anything missing, they actually check the order prior to leaving. Everyone is always very nice. Recommend this restaurant

A long time ago, El molinito was one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Tucson I have grown-up in Tucson but now after the original owner has passed and.his kids run one.at different locations there is no consistency. Plus, I am sure to shrink flation and quality of the ingredients going. What appears to be cheep out of a box.if you will I could only eat part of my plate the rest I gave to my I wish the old days were here when the food was amazing and the amount was overloaded the drinks.were on point. I here the one on oracle is still good but have not.been there yet. If you.want some good true Mexican food try Los jarrettoes on the south side of Tucson 12ave just north of Irvington tell em Tony sent you they will take care of ya. O get there before 1 pm thats.when they close cause they sell out of food.

We had an "after party" here for a birthday. The staff was pleasant and the food was great. They were a little slow, but I am going to call it "slow with love" because everything was fantastic! AND we were a rather large group (over 20 folks).

Worst food. The chips were stale. Cheese enchiladas were not edible. Interior dirty and tired lokking.
If you are looking for killer drinks, this is the place. Pass on the food.

The best frozen margaritas ever! (but if you're driving - only one!) Their food is authentic Mexican fare and just the best ever! Take a break and treat yourself to El Molinito's! You won't regret it!❤️

My husband and I came to dine about 3pm on a Saturday. There were only 2 other tables of people at that time. The server was friendly and took our order. We got our "usual". I ordered the enchiladas de la casa. They usually come with chicken. I asked for just cheese. As soon as she took our order, she came right out of the kitchen so fast, with our meals. I thought it was so quick, I assumed she brought the wrong meals. She told us what we ordered as she set them in front of us. The sauce on my enchiladas had a greenish-yellowish tint to it. I took the first bite, but had just eaten a hot pepper in the salsa. So I couldn't taste it. I took 2 or 3 more bites before I realised that the sauce was off. I finally realized what it was. It tasted and looked exactly like canned cream of celery soup. I had made a recipe with it not long ago and that is what it had to be. There was nothing else mixed in. I strongly believe they ran out of the casa sauce, so they just threw the cream of celery over the enchiladas and heated it up. It was full of celery pieces, just like the condensed stuff you buy from the grocery store. I sent it back and told the manager what I think it was, but they insisted that it was the exact 'secret' house sauce they have been serving for 60 years. You can't fool me lady! I know what the house sauce tastes like and I know that it was not what you put on my enchiladas! I am mad that they tried to lie about it. They may have denied it, but they know what they did. Shame on you, El Molonito on Pantano. I know that if it was the house sauce that it would have been mixed with sour cream and other ingredients. Also, when you walk into the kitchen and walk right out with 2 entire dinners in less than a minute, you are not serving fresh food, you are sending out reheated leftovers. It is not quality food. This place used to be amazing. I had been coming to the various El Molonitos since 2007. Never again. The qualtity of food is atrocious. Thankfully Tucson has no shortage of good quality Mexican food. This is just not one of them. They didn't charge us for my meal that I sent back. I did not order anything else. My husband's food was hot on the outside and cold in the middle, so he didn't eat much of his either.

Today I went for lunch and the service was horrible, flat soda and when our food came no utensils. The waiter had poor customer service and he checked in on us once throughout the entire time. ?

We were seated, had chips and salsa, and had drink orders and an appetizer placed in 5 minutes. Cheese crisp was alright, but that’s hard to mess up. Waiter was very kind and even gave recommendations on what to get. Unfortunately, the Taco Salad (recommended) was vile and my wife felt nauseous after a few bites, couldn’t eat much of it. I had a chimi with Carne Sera (which I had never tried, but I like Carne Asada and it was recommended by the waiter) and what I got was…confusing. The enchilada sauce on it was surprisingly good, but the sides were rather bland, and the filling of the chimi felt like there were bones in parts of it (that I swallowed cuz they were small). We both wanted to leave quickly but had to wait about 15 minutes for our waiter to reappear, and then he came back 5 minutes later with the check. We waited another 5 minutes before he came and took the check so we could pay and leave.
The recommendations were poor, we both feel rather ill, we boxed our food but decided better of it and threw it away when we left, it took 25 minutes from when we decided we were done to actually leave…just don’t waste your time here. There’s way better Mexican food within 5 miles of this place.
