Update... I still think they have the best beef fajitas in Tucson. Also, there was a comment posted about the salsa tasting like ketchup with canned tomatoes? One, I agree with the canned tomatoes part of the comment but not the ketchup part. Two, they serve 2 salsas at every table. 1 mild and the other spicy. Maybe that person only tasted the mild?
Met a buddy here as he always ate here with his Dad growing up. We arrived at 7:30 pm so it was relatively quiet and peaceful but he said it gets very busy, especially at lunchtime. I ordered a chicken burrito and a side of guacamole. Didn't realize a chicken burrito comes with nothing else in the burrito. Sorry. I am not peeling my burrito apart to add lettuce, cheese, and refried beans. Do that in the kitchen. Other than that, I found the burrito was just okay. ...
Great food. I typically get a Chimichanga with rice and beans, and haven't been disappointed. The rice is good, not great, a little like pilaf. The cheese crisps are very popular. This place is great for satisfying our craving for Mexican food and have also had them cater several events over the years.
