El Potosino Mexican Food

Absolutely ridiculous, you order to eat in the restaurant and they put it in a to go box and DON'T CUT the quacidilla I always and this is my 3rd visit inside or 2 months have to ask for something to cut it on.

Amazing food, I drive down from Mesa like at least once every few months for this place

So this review is coming from an EXTREMELY picky foodie, and for a little take out ( though you can certainly eat in) Mexican restaurant, the food here is DELICIOUS, and FRESHLY made to order. I LOVE their chicken tacos! 22 bucks feeds THREE people... AND it's delicious. 😊🙏😋🥑🌮

I don’t even understand how this is a chicken quesadilla. The tortilla is soaking wet from the pico de gallo and made the entire quesadilla soggy. The food and service didn’t used to be this bad.

These people ruin every order i make and never make it right. They do not care about customers satisfaction and than disrespect you when you ask them to make it right. Dont eat here. The vooks and owners clearly care about themselves.

every couple of weeks i'm overcome with the need for a bean and cheese burrito and el potosino hits the spot every time. the vibe is right, the owner, at least im assuming he's the owner, is chill and kind and always gives us the perfect amount of salsa. definitely my favorite spot to go for an evening burrito. also, my dog loves going through the drive through, and getting a bite of tortilla once we get home.

Arrived around 3pm, fabulous service, very nice atmosphere and very helpful staff. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice as I asked a bunch of questions. Food was EXCELLENT!! Definitely recommend. The carne asada fries were top notch. The portions are not small and everything tasted fresh, fabulous and perfectly seasoned! Definitely recommend and will definitely be going back!

I tried this place for the first time today. I got a veggie burrito and wanted cheese and sour cream added. Well they forgot the cheese and put so much sour cream on it I eventually had to put it in a bowl because it became soup 1/3 through. 2 bites in and there was sour cream started dripping out. I couldn't even finish it because it was all sour cream. I think there was some beans and lettuce in there but I wouldn't have have known because of all of the sour cream. Tried my friend's carne asada burrito and it had good flavor.

Love this place. Moved from San Diego a few years ago and can't find any good Mexican food out here. No hate, it's just a different style that I'm used to is all. Baja versus Sonoran.

However, I did find this place since it's close by and I can't get enough. The staff are always friendly. Their chili relleno burrito and their enchiladas are my favorite. I like the dining area they have inside but I typically go through the drive-thru.

By the way don't go through the drive-thru if you're in a rush and there's people ahead of you. You can expect to wait a bit from ordering and picking it up at the window!!

Okay, listen, it's obviously not the most romantic place, but it was clean and well maintained.

The food though? 5 stars all the way. The pollo asado has a marinade that is so good it induces cravings. Prices are reasonable, service is solid.

Fast, delicious Mexican food. Nachos do not have melted cheese and very bland.

Only concern is the new hours. I understand not being open 24 hiurs/day, but at least later in the night would be amazing. I used to frequent before the change, now maybe once a month. There are no late night places open north of speedway towards the east side. This was my rock for years.

The shredded beef for the tostada was just onions and peppers. It wasnt like that a previous time I ordered it. Ill only get the chicken in the future, but not sure I'll be coming back after they didnt offer to fix the beef and just gave me a refund instead.
