Really like the new renovations! However was disappointed in the service. Usually El Sur has quick responsive service but this time not so. Ordered side of sour cream which was never received. Had to ask for more chips and salsa. Never even offered the peppers/onions like they used to. Felt like food has changed and lost some of its authentic flavors. Rice was more bland and Whole beans usually good but this time very bland and not cooked as much. We don’t eat lard or pork so whole beans are only option so it was disappointing that they weren’t as good as they used to be.

First visit back since the renovation/remodel. The service, food, and general vibe was excellent. Our party 2-3 was small so we split an appetizer and had an enchilada entre. A rather tasty Margrarita paired well with the meal. The dishes were out to our table sooner than expected, each serving was hot and favorful. Congratulations to the owners, support staff, and patrons. 3 Cheers to El Sur.

Love the newly remodeled dining area. The staff was attentive and gave some excellent recommendations. The shrimp enchiladas with green sauce were the best I have had. Fresh chips and salsa. The best part was the grilled onions and peppers they brought to the table.

They had a complete and total renovation! New dining area with large tvs, a bar, updated decorations, same familiar menu that has been reprinted.
The food is amazing. So delicious!! A family member brought us here for our first time and then WE brought more family. Noe the server is super nice, very friendly and makes you feel right at home. If you love some good Mexican food, definitely give El Sur a try. You won’t regret it!!!!

This place has consistently been my favorite for over 15 years. I just had dinner here for the first time in a few months and am so pleasantly surprised with the renovations. Isela is so impressive to me. It’s so rare to see the business owner of a restaurant get down in the trenches with the workers to ensure a good customer experience. She’s been the face of this place since I first started coming here and I loved that she was the person to show me the new set up’s/ensure I have what I need. Excellent job with everything you all do.
