TDLR: ok, overrated. We had to wait 45 minutes (after ordering) for 2 tacos and a quesabirria. They said well its busy. I can see that, understandable, but also people are ordering and receiving tacos well after us. The whole restaurant turned over while we were waiting. 45 minutes for one al pastor and one carnitas tacos? After that wait they had better be phenomenal…. nope. Also shredded lettuce on tacos? Thats a no for me. On the surface they seem ‘authentic’ but IMO...
The food was great but the service was horrible. Got there before the big lunch rush. The couple that ordered right before us received their food, ate, boxed up the leftovers and were out of there for 15 mins and we still didn't have our food. The group of three that arrived after us also got their food well before we did. My husband went to the counter to ask about our order and was told that we were "in the queue". Their Quesabirria and Birria soup are incredible!! If you’re on a budget the “small” birria soup is a great deal for a big meal. Everything I’ve had here is delicious. I really like their jamaica drink, it’s not too sweet.
