This used to be my favorite coffee spot in Tucson because of the (former) quality of the coffee and the chill atmosphere. I am extremely disappointed that the new owners have treated the staff poorly enough to prompt a near total turnover of employees. The people make the place. Also, though, I'm concerned about the quality of the roast falling by the wayside. I was a regular for many years, sad to see it change. Going to find a new place to sit with my latte and do the crossword.
Best 12 oz latte in a long long time including barista drinks from the Pacific Northwest and Southern California! Service with friendly engaging team members. Great interior space with good ergonomics.
Secret for out of towners: in the shoulder seasons, sitting outside in the breeze is heavenly, especially when the not uncommon mournful rumble of the freight trains wafts over the air from the tracks.

Nice enough little place to use the laptop. Comfortably seats about 20 and there's not much to the iced brews menu, but the great building located downtown gives it its vibe.

There's been a definite vibe shift. The baristas used to know my name, drink order, be happy to see my dog/me, but the vibes are just weird now and it feels different in there. I also don't know if the roaster changed too, but the coffee tasted burnt.
Aspen is still there though and they've consistently been a bright spirit here, so I'm thankful for that!

I had high hopes: seemingly good reviews. However, both times I’ve been to this café, I’ve left questioning how this coffee shop continues to be successful. The coffee is mediocre at best, but what really does it in for me is the frowns on the employees faces. They just seem unhappy and interactions I’ve had have left me feeling worse than prior to walking in. Hey, maybe I just came on someone’s bad day but it bothered me enough to leave a review.

Coffee is amazing. Old building with brick walls , a lot of character. Great coffee shop with good selection of pastries. The only thing someone is not very friendly.

I found this café while searching for the best coffee shops in Tucson and decided to visit for the first time. I ordered an Americano and an iced coffee. The iced coffee had a slight acidity—personally, I think I’d enjoy it more if it were a bit stronger so the coffee flavor could shine through. The Americano had no noticeable acidity and was smooth and easy to drink on its own.
The shop doesn’t have many seats inside, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Once the weather cools down, I’d love to come back and enjoy a coffee outside.

Very nice people at the counter. Not a lot of lounge seating. Cold brew was alright.

I've been a customer here for years and love the drinks, atmosphere, and friendly staff. Exo sources and roasts their own beans. They also sell goods from local vendors for a quick gift. Their space is super cute and I love their patio. They are experts in the industry, and I love supporting this local Tucson business!
