The food was just OK - on par with many drive-through Mexican restaurants in town. But I cannot forgive them for interpreting "no beans" as "double beans - no rice", and then attempting to gaslight me into believing I said "no rice", a phrase that I've never uttered in my life. This was at the Filberto's in Houghton Town Center (Houghton and Old Vail).

I'll never be going here again.Not only are their prices not listed on most of their products, they told me the price was going to be 21 dollars but my sister's card was declined. She swore she had enough but then when I gave my card it was declined as well. They were charging us 32 dollars. How we both heard 21 is beyond me. And how 2 burritos cost over 30 dollars is ridiculous.Then the lady gave us the wrong receipt which showed a hidden 3% charge for using a credit card which was not stated on their menu, their window, or by the person taking the payment.This feels highly unethical and illegal.Then we get home and the food is burnt and dry and gross.I can't believe the service and their only explanation for any of the grievances was, "Sorry, I don't know, I'm new."I do not recommend this establishment and I will never go back to any of their locations which sucks because it was my sister's and my favorite place to grab lunch.

The new management has made a HUGE difference here at this location (her name is Elbia, and she is just lovely!). The attention to detail is noticed. The salsa bar is all set and stocked with many items, whereas before they only had the bare minimum. The food is tasty and portions very generous. If you had given up on this location, I definitely encourage you to go back and try it again under Elbia's fantastic leadership!

Victoria is super nice and the food is always good.
If you have money, spend it ANYWHERE but here. This is one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I had an issue with the manager, and she would not provide me with her name. She was advising employees not to share her name with me. Horrible service, horrible food with visible cockroaches in the back, and absolutely horrendous behavior of every single employee in the building. I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options whatsoever.Kid-friendliness: NOT CHILD FRIENDLY! Employees are cussing and talking about the customers in Spanish.Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely no wheelchair accessibility.

I just came in again. It is february 26th I am doing a new review due to new management and new staffing. Their food was great. Wait time was a very minimal and the staff was very courteous. Helpful and friendly. The previous review was due to the old management and staff which were very horrible. The New staff Elvia and Flor where very Kind and Helpfull Flor check3d on us several times during our visit to make sure we where still doing good and didn't need anything
Delivery Drivers, Be aware of this restaurant. The supposed “owner” which is just a manager will accuse you of trying to steal food so she can unassign you from the order and she can take the food and eat it. People ordering from here be aware that the employees do not care if they get your order wrong or if it is cold. This is the dirtiest and most unprofessional restaurant I have encountered. As a Mexican you are giving our race and culture a bad name just by how you treat people. I implore others to read other one star ratings to see the pattern of behavior at this building.

Don't be tempted coz there's nothing in rita ranch, and nothing open late; It's borderline school lunch:Taco Tuesday. Better off spending your money on dos Hermanos, might be a dollar or so more but much better.
