We came here because there was no wait. But there is definitely a reason there is no wait. $8.5 for a street taco with one piece of cod, 8 for a shrimp taco with 2 shrimp
and they weren’t good. They weren’t terrible but not good either. $25 for 2 street tacos and an iced tea including tax and tip. So not a cheap dinner.
The worst part was the service. Our waitress was terrible, took her 10 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. After taking our drink order she walked away as I was trying to order an appetizer. It was nearly 40 minutes after arriving that we were able to place our food order. She was constantly sitting at other people’s table talking to them for 5-10 minutes at a time. Meanwhile we needed drink refills or to place our order. Never came to check on our food, never got a to go box because she never came back.
It was just an awful experience all around.

Why Finis Landing in Tucson, AZ Is the Best Restaurant Ever

When it comes to great food, amazing atmosphere, and true local charm, Finis Landing in Tucson, Arizona stands above the rest. It’s not just another restaurant, it’s an experience that combines the best of good eats, friendly service, and a relaxing desert vibe. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Finis Landing offers everything that makes dining out special.

First, the food is simply incredible. Finis Landing is known for its fresh seafood, juicy burgers, and unique southwestern twist on classic dishes. The menu is packed with flavor, from the crispy fish tacos to the perfectly seasoned wings that everyone in Tucson talks about. Unlike big chain restaurants, Finis Landing takes pride in using quality ingredients that make every bite taste homemade. Even simple sides like their fries or coleslaw stand out because you can tell the cooks care about what they’re making.

Second, the atmosphere makes it a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. The restaurant has a laid-back coastal theme that fits perfectly with Tucson’s sunny weather. With outdoor seating and a great view of the Catalina Mountains, it feels like you’re on vacation, even if you just stopped by after school or work. There’s often live music or a game on TV, and the crowd is always friendly. Finis Landing somehow manages to feel both exciting and comfortable at the same time, a rare mix that makes every visit enjoyable.

Third, the people make all the difference. The staff at Finis Landing are known for being welcoming and upbeat. They remember regular customers, make everyone feel like family, and go out of their way to make sure you’re having a good time. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, they treat you like you belong there. That personal touch is one of the main reasons people keep coming back.

Lastly, Finis Landing isn’t just about food, it’s about community. It’s a place where friends meet, families celebrate, and locals come together. You’ll see people of all ages there, from college students grabbing lunch to older couples enjoying date night. It’s a Tucson favorite because it represents what the city is all about: good people, good food, and good times.

In conclusion, Finis Landing is the best restaurant in Tucson because it delivers everything that makes dining special, delicious food, a relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and a true sense of community. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a Tucson tradition. Once you eat there, you’ll understand why everyone says the same thing: there’s no place like Finis Landing.

Ugh usually good but bartenders Saturday very difficult. Asked to change the tv to football 3 times over 2 hours. Never changed it, nor even answered me, just a bad look. It was busy for awhile so we understood but after that a lot of bartenders just hanging out and talking. Still ignoring our request. Too much competition for the attitude. We live two minutes away so we come here a lot but not going to if we see these two. Life’s too short.

Get the burger of the week (BOW) (wk ending 8-18-2025- changes everyMonday) before it disappears! Its PHENOMENAL! See pic below.. whatever flavor profile your thinking? It's not it- its better than you can imagine. The chef here is top notch and knows what he's doing! I highly recommend this place! Not a paid post- just a regular customer...💯 BOW changes every week of course.

Don’t eat here. All our food was horrible - burger was gross (over salted and meh for $21), tacos were abhorrent (meat was cold on the beef one), kids meals were fine.

Cool atmosphere, but they really need to clean the place. Dust on all the overhead lights.

Actually, we live far from the restaurant, it takes around 25 mins driving, we went there because of the school fundraising.
Put an online order around 5 pm, then got there around 5.40pm. It was very busy, almost couldn't get parking.
The food was ready when we got there, I didn't check them and just picked up then left.
Once we got home and opened the food, my order was not complete. I didn't get the chicken wings, as mentioned in the menu description for the blacken Caesar salad.
I didn't call or drove back there because it was late and far, but I wrote an email to make a complaint.
Until now it's been more than a week and I didn't get any response at all.
The food it self taste just ok, nothing special. The portion was very small for the price...(overpriced)
Very disappointed!!

I’ve been here more than 5 times. Never once have I not had to ask to be acknowledged just to order. Majority of my friends refuse to go, but we live close and food is decent so I go back. I also go back because patio is dog friendly, but the service is far below sub par

Bar Rescue needs to stop here. Excellent location-great sounding food. We walked in sat. Watched the one bartender and one waitress hustling! Our server was amazing. Then we discovered the filth. The restroom was probably not cleaned in days-understaffed no time to make sure the basics are taken care of right! We walked. The burgers were about $21- I don’t mind paying for good food but the prices seemed high. $6 taco. Too bad. Has a ton of potential but it looks like the local booze hangout. Better places to eat than this place.
