We really enjoyed our visit and the wine tasting. The owner who served us was very enjoyable to talk to and made our visit very pleasant. Well worth a visit.
We came with another couple to do some wine tasting, and this was our first time at Flying Leap. We went with the 6 sampler wine tasting and was told that it would be 6 one ounce pours. What we were given was maybe 1/2 ounce pours. Being retired military we asked if there were any discounts. We were told yes, but upon check out we were informed it was for bottles of wine only not samplers. The staff and the atmosphere was okay, but the price of $26.00 per person was not worth what we received.
I will say that the two dogs running around were very friendly!!
I cant see us going back there, as there are other Vineyards in the local area to visit.
We were 2 couples opted for wine sampling $26.00 each , told we would get 1oz pours none of our 6 pours were 1 oz but barely a splash in the bottom of our glasses , very disappointed, at check out we were told they honor military at 10% then during ring out were told sorry no military discount on wine tasting only if purchasing a bottle ! Wow wow over priced for a thimble tasting pours , buy a bottle better price versus their sampling pours !
Mark is awesome! His Bourbons, brandy and…shhhh… secret concoctions in the back… were all amazing! My wife and I had a blast hanging out. So glad we follow @rvwhiskeyreviews on youtube. Micah led us to an amazing experience with Mark and the gang at Flying Leap.

Busier than usual, no sparkling, the 2 whites were dry, the heaviest red had no after flavor. Better wines all around you! Just my pallet speaking…..

Definitely the worst experience on my wine tour. We walked into the distillery and were not even greeted, the lady behind the bar instead just immediately told us if we wanted wine we weren't allowed to be in there. We decided to skip the distillery and go to the wine tasting area where we stood around and waited. We ended up just leaving. Super disappointed.
Wonderful place to visit. Comfortable and friendly. Will go b.
Relaxing environment in which one can enjoy tasting the wines that this winery produces. There are bottles available for purchase.
The pours are very small. Six samples (3 white & 3 red) and hardly enough wine to really get a taste of their wines for $28.95. The free glass was nice. The Sangiovese was the best.

The wine here is delicious and the service good, however the wine tasting was very stingy for the money, barely a mouthful of wine per tasting for $30. My partner asked for a glass of wine and was given it in a plastic glass. Plus a bottle of the Flying Leap Sangiovese wine we had purchased elsewhere was twice the price here. However I do recommend the chilli wine, and union. The whites and roses are also great.
Beautiful setting, relaxing, wonderful varieties to taste and purchase, a tranquil getaway. Highly recommend.
$26 tasting. Small pours. Chili infused wine? Dessert wine?
Generous tasting pour and a relaxed atmosphere. It helped that the wines were awesome.
Such a hidden gem for Tucson. So glad our friends are members here and introduced us to this place, which we are now members of as well! Highly recommend!
