I used to love coming here. Great steaks, burgers, and the wedge salad. But I just don’t like how I’ve been treated with the new wait staff. I was given the check without asking for it. It wasn’t lunch hour or busy. There were only one or two tables occupied. I didn’t see anyone else get their check. That was in poor form. Before that, the waitress took a good 5-10 minutes looking for a used bottle because I guess the new bottle in front of her was not for me. The food was great though. I definitely did not feel welcomed there so I quietly squared up my check and never intend on coming back.

An out-of-the-way cowboy grill and bar. Cooked our burgers/steaks in plain view on an open fire grill. Worth the drive.
This place is a must if you get near Tucson Trap and Skeet or fly in to Ryan Field near Tucson . Great bar , great steaks .. pizza is very good too .

I love their pizza. No matter what kind. I have not tried anything else on their menu, but I am sure it is delicious. Steaks seem to get a lot of compliments. Will have to try one, lol. I really love their pizza ??Vegetarian options: You may order a veggie pizza and boy it's so yummy ?. But you can order most toppings on your pizza. Meat lovers and the supreme is yummy ? as well. Their crust is amazing. Highly recommend.

For the 2nd time our waitress was so scattered. she didn't wipe the table befor she brought our drinks. She said she brought us chips and salsa in which she did not..so figure if she said she brought the chips and salsa , does she really know what she is delivering to her

Fred’s is a little place off a dirt road. The service was good- our waitress worked hard as the server, bartender & bbq master. However, the food was ehh. The flavor is good over their indoor mesquite grill but you can tell they use cheaper cuts of meat. The steak was a bit chewy and hard to cut. The baked potato was…well, a potato. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be coming back.
