Great service and the food was awesome đ Our server was very sweet!
If youâre looking for a laid-back spot with great food, cold drinks, and an energetic atmosphere, Frog & Firkin is a must-visit in Tucson. The patio is perfect for Arizona evenings, and thereâs always a good mix of locals and students hanging out.
The food is consistently solid â their pizzas are awesome (definitely try the âFirkin Pizzaâ if youâre a fan of bold flavors), and the wings hit the spot every time. Lots of beer options, and the bartenders know their stuff. Service is friendly and fast, even when itâs busy.
Itâs a great place to catch a game, chill with friends, or just unwind with good food and good people. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Tucson!
It's definitely a college place, but the pizza is worth the chaos. Might be the best pie in Tucson. My son has been at school for 3 years and was shocked.
cold draft beer and friendly cast
I had a disappointing experience at this bar. I ordered two double vodka sodas at the back bar and was charged $44. I specifically asked if it was well vodka (the cheapest option) and if the pricing matched the front bar, and I was assured it did. Later, when I returned for another drink, a different bartender at the same bar charged me $22 for a double and explained that they only use Titoâs at that bar, which is a premium option.
I still paid for it because it was already made before I could say anything, but it felt like I was taken advantage of, as if they assumed I wouldnât notice or question the price. Itâs frustrating to feel misled, especially when the bartenders werenât upfront about the pricing, even after I asked directly.
Be careful if you go here â make sure to ask multiple bartenders about their prices so you donât get overcharged like I did.
Small pizza and 3 beers was $70.

My server Sabilla was amazing. Super friendly, prompt and an amazing sense of urgency.
Now the food/managment is a different story.
If youâre going to take a 30 top, they should pre order or a manager should be helping with the table. I saw two girls serving about 60 guests outside which is absolutely absurd. I didnât see anyone come out to bus or support them aside from helping turn on a heater that three tables asked to be turned on. Poor management.
As for the food. I ordered a medium rare grass fed burger. It was served well done. I can understand it coming out medium well, but well done is just poor cooking. It took 45 minutes to get the burger.
5 star service, 1 star for kitchen and 1 star for managment.

I came around June to this area. I was trying to eat the Asian restaurant across the steet with my friends but it was closed. One of my friends suggested we try something new and we ended up at this place. One of my friends try ordering pizza but our waiter said they had no pizza. Okay thatâs fine, but next thing you know 3 full pizza come out for the table next to us. All the entrees we got were super bland. The only good thing was the appetizer we got surprisingly. After all that made my stomach hurt for the entire night. Waiter was barely paying attention to us. At the end of the all the unpleasant service, my friend accidentally tips him the largest amount of the percentage, it was funny lol but he definitely did not deserved any tip at all. I meant to write this a while ago because I donât think itâs still gonna be a good experience to this day. Maybe if youâre drunk lol.

There was 9 of us and we all ordered and tell me why my burger not only came out after everyone's food but 35 minutes after everyone finished eating. Then it came out over cooked and my bun burnt. Did they comp me anything or have a manager come to talk to me. NOPE trash. I'm sorry over 40 minutes after everyone else's food and then I ask for ranch and never got it when it did come out. I'm sorry that's trash to me.

I really don't understand why anyone would waste their money here. Tried the truffle fries and there was nothing special about them. It was crappy fries with "truffle" seasoning. Nothing real or fresh about it. They also came out luke warm like the rest of my food.
Ordered a burger and beef sandwich. The burger was well overdone even though I ordered it medium well and the meat mix was just bland and boring. You can get a better burger at the golden arches, it was really that bad. The beef sandwich was just weird. It was dry and bland as well. The bread was stale and hard. Nothing I had was remotely good and given the price of everything, it's just not worth it. This place is ripping people off.
The service was atrocious. No one there and I had to walk into the restaurant to get my check and pay. The waitresses and bartenders were all by the bar talking and in their own little world. I was there for an hour for 2 meals with an empty restaurant.
Never again. Would NOT đ« recommend. Stay far far away.
