Frost Gelato

Lately the service is not as friendly as before; the current staff can be distant and rude.

Johnny, Ana, and Valerie were the best employees I have ever met in my life. They made me feel so special and were so generous! This Frost is the best location in Tucson. I was having a horrible night and they all were super attentive and kind to me. Really made my night! THIS FROST IS BETTER THAN GOING TO VISIT DISNEYLAND AND WHEREVER YOUR DREAM VACATION IS.

We love this ice cream shop! Unfortunately, lately the staff hasn't been very helpful, and some have even been rude. This is especially true of Ms. Ochoa.

OMG delicious. Their chocolate chip & mint choc chip uses real chocolate, I think the Andre mints maybe? Cool, clean, friendly staff, ample free spoons to try out new flavors, generous with waters, scoops & napkins & they will give you the decorative toppings on the Gelato if you ask nicely. I lived on this so much when I was pregnant that the founders got to know my poor spouse pretty well! A bit pricey but totally worth it. They usually have some nice chairs & tables set up inside & outside. The Oracle site is nice to sit outside & relax, Cadas Adobes is pretty & there are two different fountains to walk around. The big one by the back side of the parking lot is used frequently for model & Prom/formal dance shoots, more in May & December. It's a lovely area. There's another busy one at La Encantada, top level, tmwhere the people watching is top notch & there's a comfy seating area a few feet away with a large lovely outdoor fireplace & a Gelato by the fire is amazing!! These are our favorite sites so far. Really nice treats. You can also get larger orders and take outs. Call to see if they need advance notice as their Gelato maker only makes a certain amount daily then they're out & you pick another flavor.

Frost Gelato is an experience in both flavor and beauty. So many gelato flavor choices and each is curated as a luscious art piece. Amongst the three of us, we tried (two flavors each): the award winning Peanut, Pistachio, Tiramisu, Coconut, Cookies and cream, and Chocolate. We were all very happy!

There's not much better in summer than the delicious dive into a cold treat, especially if it's Frost's Gelato. The pineapple was truly everything you could want. I tried one new to me, Lemoncello, and it's my new favorite. You don't have to go to Italy to experience the happiness it delivers!

First off, I want to say the gelato is great. But the place itself is gross. The owners need to go through and get the place. It looks like they had a flood or something the service counter is greatly water damaged. The frigerated stations where the Gelato is displayed is all rusted at the bottom. There is mold in the bathroom walls. The restroom door is falling off the hinges, that you have to lift it to close the door. BADLY NEEDS TO BE RENOVATED!! I am kind of scared to see where it is all made. The health department needs to do a surprise site visit. I hope I am wrong.

Simply the best gelato any of us have ever had. Wonderful service to boot. Don't leave Tucson without checking it out.
