This place had Gluten free options. Food was cooked well and made to our specific instructions. Crystal our server was friendly and the seating outside was plentiful.

The place looks like its in need of an upgrade, white tables look like a high school cafeteria. Went there for a party, they had a little buffet. The Mexican food wasnt good, but the wings were pretty decent. The male bartender downstairs was pretty cool and knew what he was doing, the girl upstairs not so much. I would get wings to go, but that would be about it. The music upstairs was loud, couldn't even talk.

Wonderfully attentive waitstaff and bartenders. Open air patio seating in abundance and great location for people watching on the U of A campus. We shared an appetizer during our most recent visit - Fried Kale and brussel sprouts. They were painfully salty to the point of being inedible. On our most recent visit, we ordered the Carne Nachos. Really flavorful although $22 seemed pretty steep for them. Beverages, ambiance and staff are great.

Main Gate Square’s finest. Excellent managing of the establishment during chaotic times by Eric S. — Mia, Cyrina, Levi, Evan, all excellent servers — even the hostesses, bussers, Faith, others, all AWESOME. Food is always great. Wings are seriously good, brussel sprouts are great. Burgers are huge and tasty. Drinks always cold. Can’t beat the atmosphere for Wildcat games. Iconic spot at UA. Bear Down.

Mid food for high prices. Plenty of places around the area with equal prices, better quality food and more professional servers. My kids (16 and 18 yo) even complained.

Great selection of beer on tap. I got a flight to sample and narrow my choice down. Food was great as well. Very convenient to our hotel. Will return on our next trip to the old Pueblo.

Man, what a way to dump all over nostalgia. My wife and I left Tucson in 2011, and this was one of our favorite spots. I was particularly fond of the reuben, and was looking forward to having it again now that I'm back in town for work.
It wasn't exactly a trip down memory lane. Instead of a brewpub, the place now looks more like a cheap nightclub, with fake marble and a single, cavernous dining area. The food was borderline inedible. The Brussels sprouts were terribly oversalted, the beer-battered fries were limp and greasy, and the corned beef on my reuben had the same texture as a mouthful of rubber bands.
It's sad to say, but if you loved Gentle Ben's how it used to be, don't sully the memory by eating there now.
