The owners wife looks like an amazing lady who stands on business! I wish I knew her name because she’s iconic!

I tried the impossible burger, mainly because I’m trying to do a lifestyle change with my food. And I wasn’t sure if it was going to actually taste as good as I thought it was. And to be honest, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. I’m very picky on my burgers. I did get it with a side of sweet potato fries again delicious.

Seriously a top notch burger. I don’t live in Tucson but come down every year for the gem show and stop here for lunch. Found myself here a couple weeks after the gem show and right now I’m sitting down waiting for my burger. Can’t co e to Tucson without getting this. It’s how a burger should be done.

The Spicy Tucson burger is the BEST burger in town that I have had so far. Service was expedient, the meal came with sweet potato fries which complimented the burger perfectly. Amazingly cooked, not sloppy like a lot of burger joints that stack their sandwiches sky-high. 100% will come back.

I've had quite a few burgers in my day - from churched up goat cheese and balsamic braised onion burgers to delightfully greasy California food truck smash burgers - and I've got to say, this was certainly one of the best straight-forward, no nonsense bacon cheeseburgers I've had.
When doing something simple, the details are crucial. Thick, 8oz Angus patty (they will cook them to temp. - I asked for mine medium and they nailed it) seasoned very well, not too crispy/not too flabby bacon, double slices of American cheese (say what you will, but American reigns supreme for the classic), perfectly ripe tomatoes, butter lettuce, crisp and bite-y red onions, slightly spicy chipotle mayo that accentuated - not overwhelmed, and a sturdy bun that didn't fall to pieces half way through eating it. The menu didn't call for any pickles, but I asked for extra and it was definitely the right move - briney dill pickles that cut through the fattiness of the beef and the heft of the sandwich as a whole. This burger was balanced, fresh, and executed flawlessly.
Opted for sweet potato fries and a side of chipotle mayo (though tasty, I enjoyed dipping them in my burger's drippings the most)! They were cooked nicely - crispy on the outside and soft, sweet, and steamy on the inside and, again, seasoned perfectly.
Both the ladies that were running and cooking in the shop absolutely killed it and were as sweet as could be!
Don't pass up the burger at this gem in the American Eat Company food hall! Looking forward to trying more menu items and some of the other spots located here!

Great service and even better food
Excellent service and atmosphere, food was just meh. Got the fish and chips and the breading tasted like a cornmeal fritter. That sort of breading is good for a deeper complex flavor profiled fish like catfish but for any white fish like cod, bass, hake etc it tends to overpower the natural sweetness of the fish which was my experience. The fries were good that came with the fish. The tartare sauce was also just meh. If I do try this place again (because the last was so sweet at the register) I wouldn’t get that dish again.

We tried a Cubano with sweet potato fries and a Bahn Mi with regular. Both were excellent, but we both think the regular fries are much better than the sweet potato option. I'd have enjoyed the Bahn Mi be much spicier, but no complaints.

Read this is one of the best restaurants in Tucson. Just called and got the Chef's voicemail so I don't know if this establishment is currently open or not. Will update my review at a later time .
