Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

We've eaten at Golden Corral restaurants across the USA. This has been the best one and probably one of the best restaurants in any category!!
The food was fresh and delicious. Even the sirloin was tender and seasoned well... better than a few steak houses. The salad bar had great variety, as did the dessert kiosk.
Our drinks were kept full and the staff kept our table cleaned. When they saw we had steak, they came over to ask if we needed steak sauce. They were more attentive than any high-end restaurant staff we've encountered!

Talked to owner Tim he threatened to hang up on me after I asked him is he sure he was not writing down my credit card number he asked for everything even the last 3 security number I NEEDED A REFUND for 74.01 he first said il refund you 73.26.. no I need full refund, I told him I didn't want to come back he proceeded to try to say I'll give you passes to come back. I said no thank you . He was talking to me rude saying '' I know you don't believe me but I sent the receipt. I still have not received it at all! TIM BBB needs to hear how you collected my credit card information over the phone ! Skipped up and said let me read it back to you oops I mean I can't read it back I didn't write it down .. and being called back to back while at work and told him that did he disrespect me and disregard what I have going on and kept calling me more than twice .

Worst Thanksgiving yet, we came about 7:45 no food left. I had to work on the holidays and still expected a good dinner. I’ve eaten here every year for thanksgiving. There wasn’t but pieces and shreds left of meat, no pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Which is always a main for the holidays! The banana pudding was gross, no cheese sauce for vegetables or macaroni. The entrees and food wasn’t restocked. No steak that I could see this year, No ham, scarcity and sparcity at its finest. That was it and for more than a hour before closing I expected a lot more! This restaurant has really gone down hill I don’t care what time it is, I feel like I got cheated and wasted out of my money. Diner beware they don’t care if there isn’t anything left they will still charge you full price coming in the door! I saw families with kids with barely anything on their plates. I felt so bad for them. It’s not the inflation, or shrinkage even the pandemic this was purely I don’t care about my patrons. Or the ones who eat here every year. This ruined my thanksgiving. I don’t recommend them at this time, I will be reconsidering my options next year! For Christmas dinner as well. It’s bad enough the quality has gone down hill over the years but this is unacceptable. Golden Corral needs to reevaluate their approach, management and the food. Or less people will want to eat here any longer.

Well, not worth what?It was to pay fifty two dollars 42 adults and the food was so dry.I could have broke the plate with half the desserts.The fried shrimp was so burnt.It had no flavor the ham that was being carved was drier than dry.I've had better food and sea.Rations and mres than I had tonight at dinner

Everything is excellent, the food is delicious, there's a huge amount of dessert, only the bathrooms are a little dirty.

We were eating and we saw 2 customers come in with a puppy hidden. After the waiter saw instead of saying pets are not allowed she touched it and we asked if they were allowed and she said small dogs are. I had the understanding pets are not allowed because it goes againt the hygiene policy. Are pets allowed now?

Amazingly nice staff! Always polite and on top of things. Did have an issue but it was promptly addressed and taken care of by staff! 10/10 would go again.

When you go to Golden corral you know what to expect. You know the type of food that they have and most of the time the experience is the same.
This time though, my server was Talon that young man was super respectful helpful and was by far the best customer service I have ever received at a Golden corral. Not only did he make sure I was well taken care of, but also during his down time he will make sure the location was kept clean. He does not take down time to relax. This guy is non-stop. If I ever open up a business I will be looking for Talon to offer him a job.
