We were excited to try this given the ratings on google and Uber eats. Taking all the below aside the flavors we’re ok and the rest of the salad was fresh and crisp. Might need to visit this place in person to get a better experience - hence the 3 stars.Tomatoes were pretty far gone, the burger tasted like it was microwaved, no lettuce in the OG salad or falafel pita, and the single dolmathes was just ok. As mentioned by others the fries we’re bland and soggy.
My friend Kayla bought me lunch today. I decided to try this place out because it was close by our work place & a Gyro sounded good. The Gyro was not great at all. I asked for extra tomato because I love fresh tomatoes and used to getting those on a Gyro. Instead they were cut small and seemed to get stewed sitting with the hot meat. The meat was the worst! Most of it was dry, overcooked and hard. I know the way Gyro meat is cooked sometimes you end up with a piece or two a little overcooked, but they decided to fill mine w/ a lot of the overcooked meat. Maybe because it was a to-go order and they wanted to get rid of it? Disappointed and won't be back.
Favorless and dull. Save your money and go to opa's Best
This place has some decent options. The dolmathes and kebabs are good. Side salad is usually soggy though. My boyfriend loves everything here!
The mega fries are fantastic. The flavor combinations are great. I'll eat here again, but just the fries. The spanakopita and falafel were not good. For a spinach and cheese pie, the spanakopita was all grape leaves in filo dough. No spinach or cheese. Very chewy.
Worst Greek food ever. Totoally not authentic. The spanikopita had no dill and no feta and was spicy. It was spiced spinach in filo dough. The fried zucchini were inedible- just awful. The pita bread has no real flavor. The gyro wasn't good either. The best part of the meal was the salad dressing.
I came here with an adored colleague for lunch and the best I can say is that it was just okay. We both got the Zoe salad, which is Greek spiced chicken on a bed of greens with tomatoes and cucumbers, and your side of dressing. I will say but there was definitely a lot of food, as we probably could have split a salad and then just fine. But the chicken was a bit dry, and unless you added dressing to your salad, there was very little else in the way of flavor. For almost $10 a pop, it was okay. It wasn't great, it wasn't awful.
Everything is good here. Authentic taste and friendly service. The garlic fetta dressing is the bomb. We always take at least 6 jars back to California every time we visit.
Service was good but food was just ok. I got a chicken salad and the chicken was very dry and flavorless.
This was our 2nd time trying the Greek House. The first was a to go order and we wanted to see if eating the food right away without it being in Styrofoam for a while would make a difference in the taste. The restaurant it's self is dingy and could use a refresh. Although it was clean it didn't feel that way due to the decor and the state of the furniture. The service was ok, young ladies behind the counter seemed maybe timid or just not super friendly. We ordered a side of hummus (tasted fine, traditional) the order does not come with pita bread, this is a separate charge. Also, Fried Zucchini sticks which is a generous portion and very tasty, but only comes with 1 small side of ranch dressing. We were disappointed to be charged 81¢ for a 2nd side after we ran out half way through the order (see photo attached). We unfortunately ran out of dressing part way through our OG Greek salads too. The feta garlic dressing is delicious! We also ordered a gyros with a side of rice instead of fries. The rice was not mushy but strangely moist and the Gyro meat was a bit dry both times we tried it. Our total bill was a whopping $48.

This small but friendly place is such a delight. The food is fresh, the staff are friendly, and the prices are great, large portions. They try their best to accommodate your requests, so just ask. Parking can be difficult since it's by the U of A but work a try.
Helio Fries are great, and huge portion. More than enough for 2 people to share. I love the Sonoran twist by having a drizzle of vinegary hot sauce and avocado.
I don't know if it was an off-day or what based on the other reviews, but I wound up paying $12 for an overcooked burger and burnt french fries.3/5 only because I get the feeling their more traditional Greek dishes are the go-to, but I probably won't be ordering the burger again any time soon.
5/17/21 first time going here. John was very nice. I ordered Tilapia with rice. I asked if salad it came with was traditional greek salad. He said no. He graciously allowed me to get that style. The meal WAS FABULOUS. The fish and rice was so good. The traditional greek salad was very, very delicious. Thank you John. I am a future customer!!
This place goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your food! This was my first time trying it and they were so friendly and welcoming. After I got my food, I walked down the block and I hear someone screaming my name. They forgot my extra side of pita and ran it to me! Such an awesome place and I can’t wait to try it again. (Plus the food is incredible best Greek in Tucson)
