Because I live in Sahuarita I haven't been here for years. The place seems just like I remember it. Of course I brought home a slice of pie.

Great diner! Old school vibes with the menu. Food was outstanding. My new go-to breakfast spot. And take a fresh loaf of bread and pie for the road. Lunch menu will be my next visit.

I wish they had creamers for your coffee. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. While I was there a few people asked about creamers

Hands down the BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK i have ever eaten besides mom and grandma's!!!! The portions are let's say American sized the way it should be you will definitely be satisfied the place brings you back to the way our country felt back when life was great and we had family values. So please trust this trucker you won't be unsatisfied it will make you feel like a kid again. Gus Balon's one of America's last real family restaurant's!!!!!

I ordered the meatloaf and it was rubbery. The mashed potatoes were average and the green beans had no seasoning so I drowned them in salt and pepper. Someone else ordered the chicken fried steak and that too was lacking flavor even the rye bread was below average. Not good.

Pretty good food. Chicken fried steak and corned beef hash are keepers. Staff is friendly and attentive. Very clean and well kept.
