Servers are not very friendly, The people who answer the phone are very unprofessional and Not very knowledgeable about the menu or the items they sell. The atmosphere was not the best. And the sushi they served did not taste fresh, there was a smell of fish when you walk into the restaurant which you should not smell anytime You walk into a sushi restaurant if the fish is fresh. Server only stopped by our table maybe twice. Poor customer service.

Had a great night at Hanas with the wife. Service was good, what's expected of a busy hibachi place, food was good as expected and the chef was friendly, fun and was entertaining. From Phx and wanted to try something different this time in Tucson, will be back.

We did not have a reservation on a Friday night but the staff was able to seat us fairly quick. The prices are reasonable for this type of establishment and the food is what you'd expect from a hibachi restaurant. Our cook was fantastic and made out experience quite enjoyable. We had out of town guest with us who really enjoyed their dinner and first hibachi experience. Thank you to all the staff and hostess that were able to accommodate our larger sized group.

The food is good here actually, but the service is absolutely horrible and nonexistent. Every time we come here, we sit and we wait and we wait until somebody finally bothers to come over to take the order. We're gonna start driving further north to find a better sushi place because this is just not worth putting up with the terrible service. We drive from Nogales, so if we're looking to get sushi, we want good stuff and we want good service as well.

The food was really until I looked over and saw the sushi chef using his phone with the same gloves that he was using to roll the sushi with. He went from using his phone to handling rice.
Had a great first experience at Hanas! Anthony and Luis are AMAZING teppan chefs and the food was so delicious. The servers more keep to themselves and you won’t really see them too much but they do a good job as well.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The food itself tasted okay, nothing special, but the service was awful. When it came time to pay, their card reader stopped working and we ended up waiting 15–20 minutes, no drinks or refills offered while we sat there.
When the card reader finally worked again, they charged my card—but then rushed us out of our table even though a couple of my family members needed to use the restroom before leaving. It felt very unwelcoming.
To make matters worse, later that night my entire family and I got sick to our stomachs. This never happens to me when eating out, so it makes me question the food quality and safety here. If this continues, I may have to report it to the county for investigation.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

This place was awesome, we took my bonus daughter there for her birthday and we did the hibachi style. It was all of our first times doing hibachi style and it was so much fun our cook was so funny so friendly he was so nice we recommend 100% and we will be returning
