It is temporarily housed in Playground, which I didn't enjoy the bar atmosphere at all. All high-top seating, TVs playing football, and loud music of a genre that is grating. Yes, I'm a boomer ? Good food & great service, though. Won't be back until they are in their newly renovated space later this year.

Had no idea it was in playground. Music was very loud and obnoxious due to an event upstairs i assume. I've always had a great experiences at HUB. This time i was left disappointed due to the location and noise level. The food was also subpar. Overall, i will not return.

Had a delicious dinner last night on the Hub's new misted outdoor patio, where the temperature, food, and ambiance were wonderful. Hope to return again. Highly recommend if you are downtown.

The service was outstanding, even though it was very, very busy. Our server was excellent (Matthew). The HUB is presently in the Playground Bar and Lounge building, as they are doing remodeling at the HUB's location. The food was wonderful - Matthew recommended the "Peach Cobbler Cheesecake" and it was heaven. Even with how extremely busy it was in the restaurant, he stopped and made us a fresh pot of decaf coffee. I would give the HUB a "10".

Lunch was at The Playground next door to The Hub. Same menu though. Gywneth was terrific as our wait staff. The Randy Pastrami was very good. The Spinach-Strawberry salad was just okay. We make a better one at home.

They are temporarily in a different space than the normal restaurant but it seemed to work okay. Apparently they're doing a remodel?? The food was good. It's a simple menu. Nothing to rave about but good enough for a nice quick sandwich.
Moving the Hub to Playground and not informing patrons about the change until they get there is not cool. Changed everything about the ambiance(we had to wait in the club line and show ID's to go to dinner lol).
The hostess was extremely inconsiderate. She wanted to sit us outside when it's 105 degrees outdoors. There were plenty of open tables indoors. When I asked why I couldn't have the reservation indoor she said “bc I have other reservations.” And I said “what about my reservation? I specifically didn't choose the outdoor option bc it is too hot outside! I also believe I'm not displacing because the restaurant is empty” It was extremely disappointing and we sat at the bar. From a perception standpoint it didn't make sense why we had to sit outside when we had a reservation, and we were there first and let me tell you, by the time we finished our meal at the bar there were still 2 tables available indoor. So I know we would not have displaced other reservations. It was a pathetic excuse and extremely unprofessional. Very disappointing. Bar tenders were nice. Food was good. But the hostess is your first impression and sets the tone. Do better, train better, and learn to listen to guests.
Asked to be seated in an open both instead of a table with wood chairs with no cushion. Hosted said someone else had requested but no one sat there while we were there. The restaurant was not does so was confused why the request was denied. Had to stand and go outside before our check came because the chair was so uncomfortable.

We love the HUB downtown Tucson! We live in Tubac, so it's always a special treat when we eat at the HUB. The food, service abd ambiance were wonderful!!! The HUB is a great downtown location and within easy walking distance to the FOX theater and public parking. Thank You for a wonderful dinner!
Great meal and wonderful waiter. The Hub is one of our favorite places to eat. We all love it! The waiter made sure my chicken wasn't spicy and it was perfect! The ice cream is delicious too!
My wife and I tried The Hub for the first time last night. Dinner before a concert. Great food, Ahi Tuna Salad & Fish n Chips both were wonderful. Homemade ice cream is also a plus. Service was outstanding, Margaret was our server. We will go back again soon.

What a delightful spot that I wish we had found sooner as we would have repeated a visit during our stay. Decor much nicer than pics or outside appear. Menu expansive and loved all of our entrees and the cheese curds that melted in our mouths. Still we found room for creative ice cream flavors that were divine. Excellent service as well. We WILL be back!

This place is awesome. Incredible building, beautifully hip setting, great service and food. Super menu made it really hard to pick and everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed what they ordered. Ice cream was great, too. For a Wednesday night Congress St was hopping and were so glad we came in from the foothills to enjoy this great restaurant.

Enjoyable location for a pre-concert dinner. While so many restaurants in downtown Tucson come and go, the HUB has been able to withstand the test of time, due to their very good service and food. Keep it up!
