I was denied entry solely because of a small butterfly tattoo near my ear. No text, no symbols, nothing offensive — just a simple, innocent design. This was especially surprising considering I was the one bringing a group of four women with me, and we were otherwise treated politely.
For context, I’m a local social media influencer with over 70k followers. I was well dressed, quiet, and respectful, wearing a two-tone Rolex Datejust 41. I’m clearly not the type of person this kind of policy is meant to keep out.
I’ve been to plenty of bars and clubs in this area, and none enforce a policy this rigid. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t make sense when staff should be trained to distinguish — or simply use common sense — between something offensive or problematic and something clearly innocent and artistic.
This wasn’t about maintaining standards; it was poor judgment. They didn’t just turn away a guest — they lost my business entirely and any future recommendations.

Fun times with friends, dance to live music
Everything at the hut is amazing except the karaoke dj Leo. I think he has business and pleasure confused.

They won’t let you in if you have a neck tattoo. I have a crescent moon tattoo behind my ear and they didn’t let me in. A CRESCENT MOON TATTOO. I am not drunk, I do not start problems, I am not “gang affiliated” ( which the bouncer told me). You’re going to lose customers with this rule. I came a month ago with no issue.

Has a rule about neck tattoos but many people have been in there for hours and in the past. They wouldn’t let me in cause I have my brothers dates of his passing tattooed on me. A form of discrimination

On two separate occasions, Charlie Sheen bought a round of drinks for the bar!!!
Edit 4 yrs later
I drank with 3 jean Michael Vincent's here last Saturday, and there's only supposed to be 3 jean Micheal Vincent's per quadrant!?!?!!!

Fun Tiki drinks! The Fat Man fishbowl was delicious, very light and refreshing. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Live music too! Decent pricing. Fun place to hangout, will be back.

(do they have food here? Idk)
Vibe was lit until I got my beer, sadly the music genre switched to top 100 and early 2000 hip hop 😐

Fun little outdoor music venue and dog friendly! Most shows start early, so check the schedule
Great venue, but with the abundance of space you'd think there would be more than 3 toilets and a bit more privacy. Since the door is propped open, one of the 3 men's toilets is visible to a table outside. Not cool. I'd never have drinks there when busy because standing in line to pee and having and audience when peeing is not my idea of a good time! Men's restrooms are usually a nightmare and this place is at the bottom. There should be minimum 10 toilets per gender for a venue like this.
Be careful if your autistic and kind a person with a big heart because they don’t have any understanding of disabilities. Mite file a former complaint with disability . Poor judgement on the employee end. Sent a private message that’s being ignored I’d love to help you and your staff learn about people with disabilities
I don't know about the whole bar, but the bouncers are extremely racist, refused my friend entry, and called him a border hopper based off his voice and appearance. Never coming here again and suggest if you're not white, just go somewhere else.
My son was profiled for his tattoo on his neck which is just a vampire bite not gang affiliated at all and he does not look gangster at all. But was told because others with neck tattoos got into a fight he was not allowed in. Lots of people fight with or without tattoos smh. We use to love this place we played jenga on patio etc. It was also his first couple times he had went out to venture with his buddies. Pretty sad you guys pick and choose although this time was not at all a problem and these boys would be the last to cause any trouble.
