My husband and I absolutely LOVE Ikkyu. We’ve made it a must do for our date night. I love the Udon and Hubby always gets the Volcano don. The customer service is amazing as well. Everyone is friendly and the food is always made super fast. I’ve never waited more than 15 for an order.

I read the other day that the original Samurai owner is here so I stopped by to check it out for myself. If you were a fan of the original Samurai, then you won’t be disappointed. The place is called Ikkyu (pronounced “EQ”). It’s the same quality food that has brought me back since college whenever I visit Tucson from Portland. It’s Japanese comfort food at its best!!
