Absolute treat! Stopped in on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised by how great of an experience it was.

Had the Istanbul Plate, which was absolutely delicious and very well spiced. The tzatziki was delicious and the rice was soft and well seasoned.

The Turkish coffee was also very nice!

The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, with the most beautiful Turkish lamps creating a cozy and authentic feel.

The food was the real star of the show. The hummus was creamy, and the pita was warm and soft.
The traditional Turkish tea was the perfect.

Best Turkish food in Tucson!!

I was driving from Houston to California and one of my friends recommended that I stop at Istanbul Restaurant for lunch. I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, and the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The red lentil soup was amazing, rich in flavor and comforting, truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything else I tried was just as impressive. This place is a perfect stop on a road trip, and I left completely satisfied. Highly recommend Istanbul Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic flavors and great hospitality!

Let me start by saying i can be critical when it comes to food but we decided to stop in and try this place out for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entering I noticed the place had a welcoming vibe and very clean. Appetizer we ordered the carmelized onion hummus plate. Let me say I couldn't shovel this into my mouth fast enough. Beyond delicious. For our main I ordered the spicy chicken pita and my husband ordered the Domer pita and they both came with fries. When I say these had flavor I mean they had exceptional flavor and they were not stingy with the meat by any means. Big portions, delicious food and great service! I will be back again and again!!!

A wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The owners, brothers Zahed and Kamuran, are very friendly and helpful in every way. You should definitely come and eat here.

This was some of the best food I've eaten all year. I had the vegetarian combo and each item was perfectly seasoned and amazing. The baklava and tea are also delicious. Portion sizes were huge, service was great, everyone was very polite and helpful. I will definitely be coming back!

Great food, service, and atmosphere here at Istanbul's in Tucson, AZ! I frequented here when I used to live here and it's been amazing food and service every single time. The kebab dishes are all good, but the best thing here has to be their rice pudding dessert, top notch.
