Brought the wife and sister out, we frequent it regularly and absolutely love the food! Had the curry with the wife and sister had the ramen. The food was great, we also LOVE the taiyaki and the mochi ice cream. Plus the service is wonderful and -An was amazing, such a kind guy and really friendly. Best place in town for sure

Ja ramen is such an amazing place for some curry and ramen. This is the only place in town with some good Japanese curry, their selection is extremely vast, and their curry is pretty darn good. Their ramen is pretty amazing as well, but the curry at this place stands out more for me. The chicken Katsu curry udon is a great choice if you want to try both, their udon noodles are great and well cooked. The Takoyaki is also great, fresh, with bonito flakes. Their tan tan mien is also a good choice. Hosts are very friendly and this place doesn’t require you to tip since you order up front, which is a good change from traditional restaurant dining. This place has outdoor seating and allow dogs there. Feels like a warm neighborhood ramen place that anime characters have access to. Overall one of my favorite places to dine in Tucson.

Went with my daughter this afternoon I had the shrimp tempura Curry and she had the ramen with pork and vegetables. It was so tasty and the employees always smiling. The inside was very nice and it was very clean. I only wish they would put one in Vail Arizona I know it would be a success 👌🙏❤️

chill environment, i see lots of people go in to eat alone with their headphones in. i’ve only ever gotten the chicken katsu ramen because i like what i like but it’s great. 10/10

I've been here a handful of time and always got their spicy tonkatsu ramen which is five stars in itself. Today I came in wanting to try something new! The person who assisted me while I ordered was very kind and attentive, even bringing my Thai tea to my table. I ordered the pork curry and the pork katsu itself was amazing. The curry was pepper heavy and I got 5 level spice so it wasn't very spice at all, just had a good kick. Not a bad meal at all, but I think I will continue to just get the ramen from here on out!

Came here from Oklahoma with high hopes. Ate here with my family and expected to be floored by their flavors.
I was disappointed when I tasted my broth. Instead of a creamy miso style broth I was greeted by a watery broth that reminded me of Top-Tamen packet broth that you can make at home. The noodles were spot on and delicious. The three appetizers that we ordered were up to par, but again didn’t have any real “punch” or vivid flavors except for maybe the Tatsumaki balls. Overall a good experience but ultimately felt let down by the lack of flavor and richness of their broth.
Our meal at JA was enjoyable with great food and service. The Campbell Ave location seems to give larger portions than the JA at Tucson Mall, and the restaurant is clean, comfortable and festive. Thank for a great Friday night dining experience.

I’m doing uber eats delivery. Arrived to the restaurant after 10 minutes that I accepted the order, and they kept me 20 more minutes waiting and preparing the order for other customers while keeping me waiting. I think that’s totally not fair. Had a very bad experience.

The location at the Tucson mall only serves one katsu bun and not two though, whats up with that?
