My daughter brought me Menudo this morning and it wasn't any good. He looked very old, he stank. It had a funny taste and didn't often taste like pure water. Before we always bought Menudo there, and they were the best Menudo in Tucson now you don't have Sabor. The only good thing was that the bread was very delicious and well toasted and I had it for breakfast with a coffee...

I had lunch this week there for the first time. Being a menudo aficionado, I have been searching for the best in Tucson. I found Jalisco’s to be my favorite thus far. I love the options offered: large or small, no hominy (+ $1.50), a little hominy (+ $1.00), pata side (+ $3.50). Strange that removing all, or some of the hominy requires extra charges, but whatever is removed is compensated with more tripe, which is generously included in the first place. So, to me, it is very fair. My companion enjoyed her chile relleno. I will definitely go back to taste other dishes.
Kid-friendliness: In general, I observed a few families with kids (well behaved), as well as workers and other common folk, mostly Hispanic, which was pleasing to me.

I had red chile chicken enchiladas and double beans, no rice per my request. The waitress was very nice and friendly and very accomodating.
The enchiladas were good, but the refried beans were very bland, they lacked oil, no flavor . They didn't have much taste. They had 4 small pieces of white cheese on top of the serving of beans. What I don't get is why their prices are high but the quality of food is not! They charged $14.99 for the plate plus $2.99 for fresh lemonade, plus tax..$19.53. After the tip...my total was $23.53
I will not be going back to Jalisco.
I very often go to a different restaurant but they are closed on Tuesdays! I can order the exact same thing chicken enchiladas and refried beans and know that everything, including the beans are very tasty and delicious and authentic. For lunch it also includes your drink for free. I pay $13.65, that includes tax, plus I pay an additional 20-25% or more tip!
I also regularly go to a Mexican seafood (Mariscos) restaurant. They have a great menu and very tasty food, high quality! I usually get camarones rellenos, side salad, and white rice...or camaron al mojo de ajo with a side salad, and white rice for $25.45 total.
I will not be going back.

Worst service ever didn’t even acknowledge us when we got there. Took care of people behind us first. Had to ask where can we sit lady got upset took over fifteen minutes to get our drinks never got chips and salsa had to ask. Everyone around us had drinks and chips and salsa. Waitress was talking for a long time with our neighbors she totally forgot to take our order got upset when we told her to please take our order. Won’t be going back to that place again
