OK - if you advertise that your a pancake house, wouldn't your pancakes be out of this world? Frankly, I found them to be not that special. The place was packed, I'm assuming with locals on Sunday. We managed to get the last booth, and we were crammed in like sardines. Prices were decent. I had the eggs benedict, which was good, but I truly wanted the pancakes. Just very disappointed on the pancakes. Won't be back.
As a huge fan of breakfast, I wasn't extremely blown away, but it was still good enough to receive 4 stars. It was an overall good experience, but I needed the food to make me do a little more of a happy dance to receive 5 stars. I was only in town visiting for a few days, but if I come back in the future, I'd love to give y'all another try.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, except for lunch and dinner, of course. With that said, Joe's is one of my favorite stops. The service is always excellent and the food is just as good. The latter were just a little off today, unfortunately. My hash browns were well cooked but cold and dry, and my French toast was soggy and undercooked. I usually send items back, but I was in a rush today. The rest of the meal was fine, and my server was a complete professional....
