The bartender kicked my 28 & 20 yr old children out while I was in the bathroom in a city they've never been to and is known to be dangerous at night. We needed to use the restroom and my 28 yr old and I purchased a shot to be able to use the restroom. My daughter attempted to buy 2 more when he did that. The worst part is, I was planning on tipping $20 for his kindness since he was clearly irritated by our presence from the moment we walked in. We just needed to use the restroom before a ghost tour. It was going to be 2 mins of work for $20. That behavior is absolutely uncalled for at 8pm and Im beyond disappointed that someone would have a young girl and boy outside and do something dangerous like that when AZ law says they're allowed in with their parent and it wasn't even busy or late at night.

Great hidden gem with fantastic art for sale all over the walls.
Always a great place for a nightcap. Or a daycap.
An absolute treat to stop in at.
Phoebe is a sweetheart and a genuine professional, as well.
Went for drinks and Tera was amazing and so was the Moscow Mule! Will definitely be back!
Great bar to go to here in downtown! Service is nice and fast and their cocktails are absolutely amazing
Great bar that the locals go to. Loved the art. Cheap drinks and awesome staff.
I’ve been to this bar a few times now and I love it more and more with each visit. Great music, great drink prices and the staff is amazing. They are quick, friendly and seem to really love what they do. Parking isn’t the best but one of the bartenders last time told me that after 5pm the lot at 191 toole is open to the public which will definitely bring me around more often.
Place is pretty cool… they serve booze to my 19 year old sister! Bitchin!!
I frequently visit Tucson as I'm a traveling artist, I just wrapped up performing at a charity event & decided to have a night cap with my boyfriend and a friend who we treated to a couple drinks as well at John Henry's. Only to be harrassed by Tara the bartender asking "so what's the story?" "This is weird" while hovering & being totally accusatory but never explaining or communicating what she was insinuating. She then proceeded to approach me when I was alone looking at art to ask again "so what's the story?!". She was extremely close to me & still didn't explain any problem or disruption we could've caused. I'm not even sure what the problem was STILL but all in all the experience ended on such a sour note, very bad for business. We had to cut the beautiful evening short because of how uncomfortable it got. We told her we'd leave and she said "Oh good! I would love that." being super snarky, I wanted a painting off the wall too but had to pass on it because our experience was so bad. Also, the bartenders working the night of 12/21 failed to ID all 3 of us which is not following Arizona liquor laws as they're required.

Great bar! We didn't eat anything there--just had the Los Sundays combo as a night cap.
The bar has charming dive bar feeling without being too "divey."
We were there on a Sunday, which was probably quieter than most nights.
Good art on the walls, a friendly bartender, and decent prices too

They don’t really have food, but the service is awesome. One of the bar tenders has a bunch of markers and paints and books to make art in. And games. Cool AF
Parking: Free street parking in metered spaces after 5pm and on the weekends. The Pennington parking garage is right there too I don’t know what it costs to park in there.

It's a bar.???♀️?
I go because it's close to something else I frequent. Nothing too special, but it's clean, and chill, and nothing to avoid.
