Fantastic food and service. The choices were outstanding and we are looking forward to coming back!
Excellent menu with daily/weekly specials added by the creative kitchen. High quality and attentive service.
A hidden gem that blends fine dining with a welcoming, family-style atmosphere. From escargot to kangaroo to perfectly cooked steaks (I had the 8oz Filet, perfection!), the menu is adventurous yet approachable, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable!! Warm, attentive service makes the experience feel both elevated and genuinely wholesome.
This was a second trip for my husband and I and the first time for our son. Hubs and I had been here once before and had a fantastic meal. Our return trip was to celebrate a birthday and it was much anticipated. Pretty disappointed with the food. Everything that we purchased was swimming in come kind of sauce. I love a good sauce. But even I was overwhelmed with the saucing. We ordered several appetizers, including crabcake (do not recommend) that had a sauce drizzled on top of it, bacon wrapped shrimp (just ok) with sauce on it, escargot (again, just ok) totally swimming in liquid margarine - and this was normal and expected for escargot, and the trio sampler (delicious, but totally underwhelmed with the size of the pieces of meat - way too small) which was served on a plate with sauces under each type of meat, that had all mixed during the trip from the kitchen to the table. Looked horrible, tasted all wacky. Hubs and I both got entrees, the specials of the day. He got the prime rib 14oz special, with asparagus and another side. I got the baked salmon with broccolini and rice of the day, which was Cajun flavored. The prime rib for my husband was way too fatty and rubbery - he didn't eat it all because it was not a good piece of meat. And it was covered in some type of sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly, was delicious, and sat on a bed of roasted tomato sauce. !!!! Sauce!!! Then the broccolini was DRENCHED in a balsamic glaze sauce and while it was tasty, I was so over the sauces on everything. I would like to say that we were warmly greeted upon arrival, but we weren't. We were stared at and evaluated up and down like we were pieces of meat, but I guess that's part of the hostess charm over at The Cork nowadays? Very unfriendly vibes coming from the matronly host as she looked up our reservation. I would like to say that the end of the meal was better, but it wasn't. When we were done eating, I requested the check and a box to go.
Met a friend to celebrate my birthday. Was greeted with a birthday card and a friendly host and server. We had the crab cake and bread basket for appetizers. The crab cake was delicious and very flavorful. And the bread basket came with a variety of breads with butter. I ordered the prime rib which was cooked perfectly as I wanted it (medium). Talk about melt in your mouth! We ended the night with a birthday dessert complements of The Cork! A scrumptious brownie with a birthday candle! What a perfect ending to a perfect dinner! Thanks Cork for making my birthday special!
My wife and I had a very nice evenings at The Cork celebrating our anniversary. We look forward to going again.
We had such a wonderful evening last night at The Cork Tucson. We enjoyed the Sonoran Week menu and we both had an appetizer, main with two sides and a dessert. Needless to say we had to bring part of our meal home. Everything was prepared and cooked to perfection! The waitstaff was very attentive but not intrusive. It was the best meal we've had in a long time and our experience made for a great memory.
I absolutely loved the wild game trio! Bison, Kangaroo, and Venison were delicious. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere made for the perfect meal.
Excellent food and service. The noise level was quiet so you can have a conversation. We will be back for special occasions.
Matt did a very good job serving us and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was not as intimate as we would have liked.

Celebrated my birthday. We were seated right away. Our waiter introduced himself and gave us time to look over the menu.Food was delicious and perfectly presented. I had lobster tail, husband and son ribeye. After dinner presented with a giant warm brownie to share. Over the years we have celebrated many special occasions here under Jonathan's ownership. The new owners are doing everything right!
Been to The Cork many times; this past Friday we were seated in the back room instead of our usual small cozy room. Noise level was excessive. Not as enjoyable as usual.
The food was delicious and the service was friendly yet professional. Thanks to Julie and the other wait staff!
We noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary and when we arrived at the restaurant also mentioned that. We were told we would receive something special. Unfortunately, we did not receive any acknowledgment of our anniversary at all, while we did see another table receive dessert for a birthday event. While the food was good, it was not so outstanding as to justify the prices. It is not likely that we will return to Jonathan‘s Cork given the number of really good restaurants in Tucson.
The food was bland but the service was nice we loved our host and waiter great team they have there!
