I bought a dozen donuts at about 10:30 a.m. about a week ago. They were good. However, I bought old fashion style donuts. And the reason I get those is because they usually end up with some crispy edges from frying. These donuts were soft on the outside and tender inside but they didn't have any crispy edges. Now that just might be the way this donut shop does that. I'm not taking off a star because of that. What I am taking off a star for is bitter tasting oil. Which...

Reminded me of the authentic donut shops I used to go to in the valley when I was a kid in LA. These donuts RULED. I rolled in at like 5pm after a Dr appointment that bummed me out and these donuts were SO good and made my day so much better! My mom even commented how great they were when I brought them home to her. I got all cake donuts.
