Beautiful delicious food and lovely service. Gem of a restaurant. I've eaten here 3x in the past 3 weeks since moving to Tucson. I love their wonton soup, pork spring rolls and Thom Kai and this is coming from someone who went 21 years not eating pork. Karuna's makes me feel like I'm back in Asia. Portions are large and prices extremely reasonable. I also love the large windows so it kinda feels like you're eating outside. Highly recommend!

Visited from out of state so my first time here. We were craving for Thai food and chose this location. I really wanted to love this place, but I feel I need to leave an honest review. I was surprised by our experience, especially given the strong reviews and my past experiences with Thai food around the country and the world. Unfortunately, this was one of the weaker Thai meals I’ve had.
There was only one auntie running the floor, so service was okay, though not very warm. The interior was also quite plain with minimal décor.
We ordered several dishes. The highlights were the chicken satay, pad kee mao with beef, and pork kratiam prik thai. That said, the pad kee mao was a bit too oily for my taste.
The biggest disappointment was the som tum (green papaya salad), which was extremely salty—surprising, since it’s such a staple Thai dish. Everyone in my family agreed. The tom yum soup was also very spicy; we likely forgot to ask for mild. The flavor was acceptable, but not memorable.
Overall, I was hoping for more based on the reviews, but this visit fell short for us.

Best pad thai in town!
The food is awesome. I suggest going at an off time to get a seat. The dining area is small.

This is the best, most consistently good quality Thai food in Tucson that we have explored with very good prices. So many vegan and vegetarian options.

Great Thai spot in an unassuming locale
Bad attitude. One server. Not authentic Thai food. No flavor, bland and all our dishes tasted the same. Not worth the hype. Food was edible though and the portions were good.

This was absolutely terrible food and not good at all. The only thing that was the fried rice. Although I enjoyed my company neither one of us enjoyed our food
