This is an EXCELLENT venue for hosting events, parties and group gatherings. Kon Tiki staff will go out of their way to make sure the group will get the side space when it's available so that large groups have space to mingle. Great atmosphere and the drinks are beautiful. Consistently draws 20 or more people for the 30's, 40's and 50's Social Group and others.
Haven't been there in a year. There was one person working. She was the server, bartender and did everything. She said no one showed up for work except her and 1 cook. Our entire time there took 2 hours waiting forever for food. Bathrooms are nasty and need serious updating!
With family the first time, the wait for food was long. About 40 minutes for a chicken sandwich (was regular tasting at the time) but gave me the worst food poisoning of my life over the next week and a half. Onions rings were on the burned side and all the other food was “meh”. The “painkiller” was great, I know drinks tend to come with a lot of ice but this was legitimately ice and 3 sips, ordering 2 feels like a semi full drink.
