We were heading to another Mexican restaurant but it was closed. Lucky us! This gem was right around the corner. Service was awesome and the food was amazing. We had the carne asada burrito (best we’ve had in AZ) and the tacos el pastor. The meat was a blend of chorizo, bacon and beef. Super flavorful. Chips and salsa were fresh and homemade. Would definitely go back!
Got a steak burrito to go for $15, the server just directs you to use the iPad so there’s no staff interaction but defaults to a tip.
For a $15 burrito with no sides it’s small and even if you ate in there’s no atmosphere you’d be paying for.
Food was standard, if you’re in the area it’s not a bad option but no reason to go out of your way or place to hit if you’re looking for a full meal.

A small and cozy restaurant near the quieter part of the greater downtown area. It feels like a taco truck but with air conditioning. The workers there are really friendly and are very generous with the potions. A hole in the wall for sure. I’ve meet lots of people that consider it their favorite “hidden gem” of Tucson. Recommend highly to go on a Thursday afternoon because that’s when the carne asada is made fresh.
